Did anyone successfully lose their belly fat without losing their butt? personally if I exercise to lose my belly fat I would lose weight all over especially in my butt.

When I did Step Aerobics, I lost fat on my belly but not my butt. My butt was nicely toned. What are you doing to lose belly fat?

Unfortunately you cannot "spot treat" when it comes to losing fat. You lose it collectively, not just in a particular area. My suggestion is to do some weight training involving your glutes. This will help them bulk up so that when you do lose weight all over, your rear still maintains a round, firm appearance. I hope this helps.

I think Im losing my butt. I told my SO I lost weight when we were on webcam and he was like let me see. So I stood up to show him and he's like "youre loosing your butt!" :(

Im going to hardcore with the glutes. Squats and lunges with weights to build them back up. I hardly had a butt before so loosing it is not an option!

Just remember LOW reps HIGH weight. Reach failure (not just exhaustion as it won't stimulate growth, but true failure meaning your giving it your all and can't do not one more rep) between 6 & 8 reps. My booty plumped up nice doing this so much so that DH noticed (and he's one of those that don't notice anything:rolleyes:)

yup. This with protein shakes after weights and cardio exercises. Cardio exercises like spinning with some resistance and not too fast, hill climb exercises, elliptical...etc.

Hula hoop, belly dance, kick boxing..
