I remember using black soap in the past but i was wondering if it works good on the face! I was wondering:
What brand do you use?
How do you use it in your skin care regimen?
and
Where do you by the soap?
Thank you! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Talisa3636! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/wave.gif
I use pure African black soap from www.nasabb.com (http://www.nasabb.com) I use it 2x a day. After I wash my face with it, I rinse my face with cold water to close the pores. Then I apply Himani Gold Tumeric Cream. This soap is sooooo goood! Makes my skin soft and takes care of blemishes/oil/acne. I highly recommend it!

That's the one I use, too. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I finally broke down and ordered 1 lb of it. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I just cut a little piece off and use it until it disappears.
I use dudu osun , from nigeria

Is nasaab good for dry/sensitive skin? Most soaps dry out my face.

My skin is mostly oily and sensitive. And I have dry patches around my eyes and mouth and parts of my cheeks. The black soap from nasabb.com doesn't dry out any parts of my face.

when I first used Nasabb it did slightly feel dry but my skin also looked way better. After a few times the dry feeling went away. I love my black soap!

ditto. I just don't use it right under my eyes (sensitive areas), and now it works great!

I use Nubian Heritage black soap, too. Even though it's not the real black soap like nasaab I still use it. I happen to love the smell and it's good for my skin. I plan to use nasaab.

Has anyone ever tried "Alata" (the bar soap, not the liquid) by Naturally You (http://www.naturallyyouusa.com/index.html)? My bss sells it and I'm curious... I may try it when my "pound o' soap" from nasabb.com run out. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
