I don't wear make up, however I decided to try out different tinted lip gloss. Even with my nail polish, I like to use colors that compliment my skin's complexion. I'm not the type of person that wears super loud colors. BUT, I'm a little green on this. Do any of you know sites or even your own tips that might help me out? I'm a brown (chocolate) complexion and right now I'm loving those brownish type of colors with a hint of pink. I was browsing through some post and noticed people using 'color codes' for their makeup supplies. Like "I'm a C7" lol or something like that. Maybe if I find my color label or whatever it is, I can find colors that goes well with my tone.
Don't hesitate to share!

All that C7 and NW is referring to foundations and stuff. Have your tried makeupalley.com. They have a whole gang of info.
If you are looking for subtle lipgloss, I suggest you go to MAC cosemetics. They have a website with different shades but they look nothing like that in real life. You should go to their counter. They are really helpful in finding nice shades for your tone. There glosses are about 13 bucks.
Also some drugstore brands are real good. I like Loreal. Sometimes if Im in a pinch I will just line my lips with a liner and throw on some cheap clear lip gloss(or vaseline)
But if I were you I would go to MAC first and get a lil assesment done. Just so you can see what type of shades look good on you. HTH
