Hey ladies!!! I rarely post in the makeup thread but I'm trying to up my makeup game. I have a question how do I dress my small eyes. I see so many ladies with awesome eyeshadow combinations but those ladies have beautiful big and full eyes. My eyes are kind of small and my lid is not that big. So I just need tips on how to dress my eyes without looking like a fool? TIA

I like her tutorials, she has small lid space too but she works it anyway.

You are just a few years older than when I started face exercises by Eva Fraser, and my eyes looked just like yours. But my upper eyelids were no longer hooded years later (can't say how many years because I didn't even realize my eyes were much smaller before until someone pointed out such a change happens with face exercises and then it occurred to me that it had happened to me when I saw my eyes in an old photo):
My eyes when I was 20:

My eyes in my 30's:

So if you're interested, I would recommend face exercises, particularly the one described on this page (http://www.evafraser.com/facial_fitness.html), to slowly get your eyes to a place where they showcase your make up nicely so you don't end up with morse code. :giggle:

Dang thanks Nonie, that's a big difference. I hate having hooded eyes. I will definitely try these.

Wow, that's a dramatic difference. I didn't even know you could do that with facial exercise. Just another day of learning at the LHCF.

Yes, but you have to remember I started very young at 20. But even when you start late, that difference can still be seen, only it may not happen overnight. Check out Carolyn's photos. She started in her 50's and it seems she had hooded eyes then, but not anymore: http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/PicsofCarolyn.html
