So I am wearing this
http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=DRESS&product_id=2055422925&showBACK=OK
to my friend's birthday dinner.. (But in a completely different way...lol) I was wondering how should I do my makeup? should I play with color, neutrals, should I do a red and black look?
thanks in advance!

I agree w/ NaNa I would either do a soft smokey eye or a hardcore black line on top and bottom...a ton of mascara and red or nude lips w/ a high gloss shine and not to much blush....IMO:yep:

I'd do a neutral eye and a sheer red or brown gloss.

lol....i feel like forever21 always labels their dresses as tunics or shirts...at least most of the ones i have bought.
i would go with a smoky eye, or if you put on liquid liner and wing it out then i would throw on the falsies. dont forget to post pics!!!
I was coming in to say smoke it out. (but i see great minds think alike.)
You must post a pic. I am really curious to see how you are going to rock that shirt as a dress.

I thought TT was just being a prude... until I clicked the link..
Baby that is a straight up shirt!! Are you wearing some leggings or something underneath that.. I'm just sayin.. :sekret:
But to answer your question.. neutral smokey eye.. don't go overboard on the black bc you could end up looking like a thin lumberjack who got caught in a fight.

I have a dress similar to that in black and white from Urban Outfitters. I wear it belted with leggings/opaque tights with boots.
Soft smokey eye. If I do a smokey eye tone the lip down some. If you belt it, don't over-accessorize. I like bangles with it too. :yep:

Yes, please wear tights to avoid doin' a Britney! :lachen: I would do smoky with a nude lip, I think a red lip would be too much.

Girl you are a fool! :lachen: She looks tiny to me so it would probably be longer on her.
But I agree with the soft smoked out look...would probably keep it simple with like neutral base for me it would be like a shroom or ricepaper in mac and then something easy like carbon to intensify my V.
I would also nude your lip out first to hide pigmentation and then a soft nude with bangin gloss.....also I think a soft pink blush would be nice IMO

I am a color person...so I would do a different kind of smokey eye if you want to call it that. I would do a red highlight in the crease, but just as an accent. The rest would be your basic smokey eye look however the red is too dominant to completely ignore for me. Definitely have some red on your lips as well, with either red lip gloss or lipstick if you want. I am not big on lips...I am an eye person...so lining my lips and putting on lip gloss is enough for me...
And since I am a eye lady...lashes never overdo it IMO. I have several different ones so I would definitely do something natural with that look...HTH
