Face Primer

I use a primer for my eyeshadow but I don't before
putting on foundation.
Hey ladies, do you wear face primer before putting
on your foundation. I want to try this.
What brand of primer are you using?

i've tried smashbox photo finish light foundation primer. it's oil free and 60% water based. it worked for a while for me but then my skin started to get dry underneath and it did not look so fabulous. my mom swears by it though.

Every now and then I wear Mac primer, but I would like to try smash box.

I use smashbox photo finish, and I love it! It is silky smooth and it makes your skin look flawless, especially if you are taking pictures. It also makes my makeup last all day. It's kinda on the expensive side, but the bottle lasts for a long time.

I bought it at CVS for $9.99. I use it on my eyelids before applying shadow and a small amount on my cheeks before applying blush. It does illuminate the face with a faint hint of sparkle. It's worked well thus far.

I actually use Monistat Chaffing...I was introduced to this in the makeup forum ...*somewhere*....and I gave it a go and it WORKS!....the best part is its inexpensive!!:yep:

I received a sample of Philosophy's Never Let Them See You Shine Velvet Touch Primer and so far so good...........it really light and has been great with oil control

I'm going to splurge and try smashbox. I do love my monistat chaffing cream but I do think I need different primers for different seasons. My skin is really dry during the winter and really oily doing the summer. Monistat works great when I'm inside all the time during the summer. I don't think it holds to well if I have to be outside.

I just started using Perscriptives Flawless face primer and I love it. This is my first time using a primer and I can tell the difference. I use a tinted moisturizer and it goes on smoother. I also find that I don't need to use as much of my tinted moisturizer as well.

I have combination skin...I love this stuff! Sometimes I use it when I don't wear makeup. I love the way it makes my skin look!
