Soooo I just ordered the preconditioned vitamix with the 2 cook books and DVD package, from the official site for $299! The total payment came to $360 which included tax and expedited shipping (I'm too impatient) so it will be arriving tomorrow  I also did the 3 payment plan so I paid $180 and then feb and march I will be billed for $90 :drunk: (anyone can get the payment plan they did NOT check my credit)

The pre-conditioned machines have been used for demonstrations and photo shoots. However it is ONLY the MOTOR BASE (which has been cleaned, inspected and repackaged) that has been used for promotional purposes. The container and everything else is BRAND NEW; so hygiene is not an issue. The deal also comes with a 7 year warranty.

The preconditioned 5000 is $299 and the 5200 which is latest version from the professional series is $379. Initially when I called the agent told me the 5000 was out of stock; so I told her that I would think about it and call her back. Anyways later I thought "eff it I'll just get the $379 one" which is still a pretty good deal so I called back. Well, when I rang back I got through to a different operator who was sooooooo helpful and he said that he would check another warehouse to see if they had any of the 5000's, even though he doubted that they would. Well lo and behold he came back and said that he was able to locate a red 5000 which I could purchase for $299. He also added a $25 discount to my order  which is why I opted for the 2nd day shipping. Then I asked him If I could pay in installments and he was like "sure" and that was that!

Anyway for anybody who wants to place an order I have the helpful agents name and ext. no. so just PM me and I'll give it to you.

I can not wait to get this thing tomorrow I am so excited :yay:

That is around the same price that you can get it for at Costco. I think they are only in Costco twice a year. I got mine in May from Costco.

I do not use it as much as I should. Naked juice is all that I make in my vitamix.

I'm sooo tempted!
I've been wanting a vitamix for awhile.
I would use that thing like it's going out of style!

I just got one from Costco here in Frederick---the Vitamix blender is the TRUTH. OMG. I have been using my Jack Lalane juicer for almost year and my biggest complaint was cleanup time in the morning. The chute was big enough but I am trying to make drinking a green smoothie/juice a daily ritual but the clean was slowing me down. So I went to Costco and the chick was demoing the Vitamix 5200 at the store. I wanted to see how well it could "juice" fruits. I mean I know it isn't a true juicer but I needed something that was one stop for the green smoothies. THIS BLENDER WAS SO WORTH IT!!! It was $394 at costco. I can't tell my SO--he would KILL me. But sheeeit I figure what is $300 for a lifetime of healthy smoothies. And I LOVE smoothies.....just think I was laughing at my coworker for wanting to spend $300 on a damn blender

I still love my vita-mix, I bought it back in 1998 and it's running just as well as the day I got it. I love my green smoothies in the morning!

OMG!!!! I didn't know that they sold Vitamix in Cotsco. Now I need to find somebody with a membership. I don't go out that way often, but I will be making the trip.
