Not yet. Going grocery shopping later and if I can find some organic, I'll try it. I still don't have a dehydrator, and I'm thinking that would be a better way to eat it. In any case, if it's no good raw, then off to the gumbo pot!

Sounds like a good plan. I haven't tried it either but I think it would taste similar to green beans or asparagus raw. It doesn't get slimy until you cook it.

I LOVE okra but have never had it raw. Let me know how it goes.

The store I went to didn't have any fresh okra, organic or non. Will have to experiment next time.
