Vev, tell the truth. You're not a health junkie. You're suffering from that condition 20/20 covered: orthorexia. :giggle:
J/K. If you're not hanging out in the sun for at least 15-20 minutes in the AM before 10:00 AM then it's important to get those 15,000 IUs from supps. So good onya!

Health junkie checking in...
Don't y'all hate it when people call you a "healthy person" and say it with disdain? Like, somebody will offer you a pulled pork sandwich with gravy, and you say, "Oh, no thanks." and they KEEP pressing until you have to say, "I don't eat pork." Then they make a fuss and say, "You must be one of those healthy people."
 I mean, when did being healthy develop a negative connotation?! Whatever. I always want to say, "You must be one of those unhealthy people."

Actually, the Doc that was supporting the Raw for 30 days thing I did said if you are North of Florida you won't get the UVB rays you need from sunlight in the winter.

My eating habits are questionable now... but I know what you mean. I stopped eating pork for 4 years and I was ridiculed and laughed at by my fam members.

That's happening to you guys too?!
I knew there would be questions when I showed up for Thanksgiving 50lbs lighter so I polished my usual "diet and exercise" speech. They were not having any of that and demanded to know my "secret." I made the mistake of telling them I eat mostly raw foods. You know what they said? "Oh, you can't keep that up" or "I could never do that" or ....and this was my favorite... "So you're not eating?" Like raw foods ain't food.
I blame myself... I should have stuck to my story. :ohwell:

Health Junkie checking in!
I stop eating beef and pork about 14 years ago and people still can't get use to it. And then they wonder why I don't get sick :perplexed I'm also a skirt wearing Christian and when they hear I don't eat beef or pork the next question is usually "What's your religion?" :spinning: I should just tell them Good Health! :giggle:
I'm heavy into herbs and when I tell people of a herb that will help their situation and watch them run to a drug faster than a speeding bullet I'm like  and what really gets me is if it happen again they come right back :spinning: again.

I am a health junkie too.
My latest obsession is wheatgrass. :look: I plan on buying a manual wheatgrass juicer and growing my own wheatgrass. Truth be told, drinking wheatgrass makes me want to puke, but since it has so many health benefits, I'll see if I can overcome my gagging reflex. :drunk:

I was thinking the same thing. I took a double shot once and stood there with my mouth watering. Not the good kind of watering either. :nono: It was the lubing-your-esophagus kind. :barf: I managed to keep it together but next time I mixed it in a smoothie. :lachen:
