ExerciseTV on Demand!!! I haven't bought a single workout video since discovering this about a year ago and sold all the videos I did have on ebay. There are literally HUNDREDS of videos in every category you could ever think of, and they have a ton of the celeb workouts/workouts you can buy in the store/on TV, including Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, the Carmen Electra strip videos, Girls Next Door (worthless I think, but hey, they are there :look:), and so much more. Between ExerciseTV, gym, and Wii Fit, I NEVER get bored. And the BEST thing--IT'S FREE!! If you have cable (mine is TimeWarner, but I know other cable companies have it) just search your free on demand section and it will be there.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record the two programs I have enjoyed doing at home are:

Turbo Jam (Punch, Kick and Jam is my fav)
Karen Voight's Weighted Workout
Step Aerobics (I don't remember who the instructor was but I lost a lot of weight jamming while doing this)

I love 10 Minute Solution Latin Dance - its five 10-minute workouts learning and executing Latin dance steps. Its fun and effective. I should've measured but all I know is my skirts and pants are looser around the waistband. I've lost some lbs too but I'm not sure if that's the help of supplements or not.

I also like Hip, Hop Abs but Shaun T. grates on my nerves eventually and I have to take a break from him or set it to louder music.

I have heard some good things about Turbo Jam.

Question:
Would I be able to do this in pretty small living room? Does it require a ton of space?

That man's voice irks me to the core of my soul. The workout is good, but I HATE his voice :nono:

No, you don't need a bunch of space. You need enough space to kick to the sides, and be able to walk 3-4 steps on each side of you, but you can take small steps if you want or do the steps/kicks in one place and not move out of the spot you're standing in.

I am 5' 2" and I am able to do it in a little rectangular space like a corridor. What I do is turn when I'm doing the kicks. For instance there are front kicks you do and then switch to round kick which is kicking back and then a knee lift. I've got it down pat that I swivel without missing a beat to do those moves, even though they are back to back. Actually this adds to the fun for more, being able to keep up despite having enough room.

As long as you have a room that is long enough for you to kick and wide enough for you to punch in front of you w/o hitting something, you can do it.

I don't think so but FitTV is kinda cool. I've tuned into some nice workouts just by chance and they've gotten me off the couch.

Disclaimer: I am a Beachbody Coach (was a customer and lost a lot of weight so the business made sense to me) so I am partial to our work outs:grin:

In the order of my favorites:

ChaLean Extreme
Turbo Jam
Hip Hop Abs
P90X
10 Minute Trainer

I plan to grab Rockin' Body & Kathy Smith Project You Type 2 later this year.

I've also been checking out Zumba and Jilian Michaels. Walk Away The Pounds is a good one when I don't feel like working out or recovering from an injury.

Workouts I hate:

Slim in 6
Yoga Booty Ballet
The Firm
