I am! I have not had a good detox in a good long while and the new Year is just was I needed to get it going.

I'm currently using Whole Body Cleanse and laying off all the bad carbs. I'm also trying out Jay Robb Fat Burning Diet. I have a wedding to go to on Valentine's Day and I mean to look good!

The plan is to lose as much weight possible by then and here what I will do to accomplish such a task:

14 Day Detox (Whole Body Cleanse)
Green Tea first thing in the AM followed by an cardio routine (mostly walking).
Eating 2 raw veggies and/or fruits (1 of each) before every meal (to jumpstart the metabolism).
5 Fruits and Vegetables daily.
No junk food!
At least 64 oz of water daily. I hope to get in more but 64 is a real challenge for me these days. :ohwell:
2 More cups of Green Tea daily.
Eat mainly Protein and Negative Calories Foods.
I will not get on the scale again until January 31st! This will force me to eat right and keep me going.

I have been hanging out in the Model websites and come to find out the really good ones eat a clean diet to maintain and lose weight.

Here are my current stats:
Start Date January 2, 2009
Weigh In 160.8
Hips 43
Waist 32"
Thights 26"

I am starting tomorrow.

I was breaking out terribly over the past few months. I was taken too many vitamins. So I have cut back the number of vitamins except C, D and ACV. I will be eliminating the carbs tomorrow and taking a hefty dose of Bowtrol tonight.

I hope to shave off 20 more pounds by Valentines day.

Today was my first day on Whole Body Cleanse and my second day of eating clean and I have been cleaning ALL DAY! As a matter of fact I just finish! I'm really loving the effects and pray that I never go back to my old self. I know this is hard for me but easy for God so I also pray that I don't eat anything that will trigger a bad habbit. You ladies would of been proud of me in Wal-Mart tonight. I shund everything bad! He's a prayer answering God!

Do you wish you could eat less without supplementation? Try eating out of a dark salad plate. "The dark plate unually makes you feel fuller faster". :wink2:

Quite a few of us are doing a detox or cleanse. I have a thread for mine and Chantille has one for hers. Our cleanses are from the same company.

Here a good 2 Week Detox Plan...

This is a sample list of allowed foods on a detox diet.

Fruit
Fresh or frozen fruit.

Vegetables
All fresh vegetables. Vegetables thought to be particularly good detox foods include broccoli, cauliflower, broccoli sprouts, onions, garlic, artichokes, beets, red and green vegetables.

Rice
All forms of rice, including rice cakes, rice crackers and rice pasta. Brown rice is typically
preferred.

Other Grains
Quinoa, amaranth, millet, and buckwheat can be used instead of rice. They can be purchased at a health food store or in some grocery stores.

Beans
Split yellow and green peas and lentils are easiest to digest and require the least soaking time. Other good options include kidney beans, pinto beans, mung beans, garbanzo beans (chickpeas) and adzuki beans.

Nuts and Seeds
Unsalted nuts or seeds can be sprinkled over salads or eaten as a snack. Good options
include flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews and
walnuts. Nut butters are permitted. Peanuts and peanut butter are usually not recommended.

Oil
Extra-virgin olive oil is a preferred oil.

Condiments
Vegetable salt, sea salt, vinegar, soy sauce or tamari, all herbs or spices.

Tea
Herbal teas, green tea.

Other Beverages
Water, lemon water, pure unsweetened fruit and vegetable juices, rice milk

Daily Detox Do's
Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day, warm or room temperature.
Take the time to chew food well, especially grains.

This is a sample list of foods to avoid on a detox diet.

Includes sugar, products containing sugar, and hidden forms of sugar, such as sucrose, dextrose, corn syrup, brown sugar, and turbinado. Artificial sweeteners are usually not recommended. Stevia and erythritol are allowed natural sweeteners..

Dairy Products
Milk, butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and other dairy products.

Wheat
Wheat and products containing wheat, such as pasta and bread.

Gluten
All gluten-containing grains: wheat (including spelt, triticale, and kamut), rye, and barley..

Yeah! I felt the effects the first day. More energy and willingness to clean house! I think I will have to drop the fiber pills those. All fiber products sticks to my gut and my tummy is growing from it. :nono:

Found this on the web:

1. Keep a inspiration book. Get a really nice journal or something and print pictures of healthy models, tips, quotes, or workouts, and glue it in there. Look through it whenever you want to binge.

2. Eat on a blue or black plate. Dark colors usually make you feel fuller, faster. Better yet, eat on small dark plates.

3. When you want to eat something you shouldn't, make a list of all the reasons you shouldn't, and read it at least 20 times.

4. When you get a craving, count to 100 really slowly, and it might pass. Dr.s say that counting changes the minds direction in thought.

5. If you live by yourself, put up motivational pictures or numbers on the unsafe foods. Stick your goal weight on the wall or on your favorite jar of peanut butter or jelly.

6. Get one of those three ring binders and make a section for each part of the body. Put all the exercises you've got in there according to what body part there for.

7. Take a Polaroid picture or a cell phone picture of yourself wearing nothing but your underwear. When you want to binge, look at it, and if you like what you see eat. If not go grab a piece of fruit. Carry it in your wallet or phone whenever you go somewhere where there will be food.

8. Eat with the opposite hand you normally do. Left handed people eat with their right hand, and vice versa.

9. Wear a rubber band around your wrist and snap it when you want to eat. You'll train yourself not to think about eating. This also works for trying to quit smoking.

10. When you are done eating pour tons of something gross on your food like salt or pepper so you can't eat it. (if your eating out, use the former, and say you accidentally put too much salt or pepper on your food.

More tips...

11. If you get really bad headaches it could possibly be from dehydration so drink lots of water. Take multi-vitamins and sport drinks.

12. Drink herbal teas. They have no calories. If you don't like them unsweetened, buy some stevia, its like sugar, but no calories they sell it on my links.

13. When you get the urge to eat chew. Just make sure you keep track of how much you have. Most kinds have 5 calories a piece.

14. Freeze fruits and yogurts and flavored ice cubes. Frozen yogurts take forever to eat so you feel occupied longer.

15. Make sure you get enough calcium.

16. If you sit a lot every hour get up and go crazy start doing knee lifts with your arms up or some jumping jacks and toe touches or jumping stupidly or anything like that it will boost your metabolism for a little.

17. Make a meal plan with all the days and put the limit of calories you'll allow yourself to after you eat write down what you ate. Keep a food dairy.

18. To boost your metabolism drink 3 cups of grren tea daily.

19. Every dieter should eat greens or take a supplement for them... eat your veggies.

20. Two tablespoons of vinegar before the meal helps speed up your digestive system and also keeps you from feeling any reflux.
