Has anyone noticed that Nordstrom's is a little cheaper for M.A.C. products? I was looking at the Nordstrom's ads in my inbox and I noticed that Nordstrom's had some of the M.A.C. holiday makeup for cheaper than on the M.A.C. site.

Has anyone else seen this? Just curious.

In my experience the prices have been the same at the MAC store, website and Nordstrom counter. But it is to my understanding that the holiday stuff is 25% off right now. I think it's just the kits though. I was at Nordstrom yesterday and I heard one of the girls behind the counter saying that to a customer. So maybe they're only on sale at Nordstrom? Or the sale prices aren't reflected on the MAC website?

All of the holiday sets are 25% off on Nordstrom and MAC's websites, that includes the Red She Said, Passions of Red, Adoring Carmine, Passionately Red, MAC Exclusives, and Little Darlings.

Nordstrom's had a pricing event where they priced all of the 2008 holiday kits for $35. To my knowledge they are not an additional 25% off. Nordstrom's is the only place that had them for $35 initially.

Yeah. On M.A.C. the holiday sets are 25% off, but (and maybe this was just because it was in my inbox) but the holiday sets were cheaper than the 25% off on the M.A.C. site. It's not like it was tremendous, but one of them was. Hold on. I'll see if I can find it. I deleted it from my box b/c I am trying DESPERATELY not to buy anything else.

..back.
Okay. So I just checked. It wasn't like it was an ASTRONOMICAL savings (sorry if I gave you guys that impression. It was just weird to me).
It was cheaper on the Nordstrom's site. Like $.50. Big deal, but it's cheaper none the less.

Then again, I guess it wouldn't be cheaper unless Nordstrom's is offering free shipping too like M.A.C. I'm too lazy to go back and look.

Yep, you're right. The holiday brush sets were always cheaper at Nordstrom's.
