does anyone know where i can purchase cosmetic grade glitter (not online)?

Any of the MAC glitters should do it. NYX also makes glitter if you can find a drugstore or BSS that carries that brand. I would try to get a sample from MAC. I can't imagine ever using a full jar of glitter. ETA: Or when you go to the MAC counter, buy the holiday pigment set for $22 and use the Reflects Antique gold glitter on your lid for holiday, and then have all of the other colors to use as shadow later.

I like her method for getting the glitter to adhere. :yep:
I would specifically use the MAC Reflects glitter - it is the finest glitter they offer - almost the consistency of pigment.

I just purchased two of these and one also came with one of the Christmas pigments sets. I love them.

If anyone does anything with them, please take pics and post. I would LOVE to see them.
