Tinted glosses or lip sticks?

Initally, I started off with a dark brown lip liner and clear gloss - eventually I used a liquid lipstick over the clear gloss for a pop of color. It doesn't last very long. After a few conversations, a peck to my sweetie, and a sip of anything - it's all gone. Do you tinted lip gloss or lip stick? Why and which brands?!?!

I use tinted lip gloss (most of the time). It really depends on which kind you use as to how long it stays. I like tinted lip gloss because it's color and gloss all in one tube. Another thing, when I wear lipstick, I need to line it... for some reason, I can get away with gloss without having to use a liner.

Revlon Superlustrous gloss- I have Nude Lustre and Cherries in the Glow
MAC Lustreglass- I have Little VI
MAC Dazzleglass- I have Date Night, Miss Dynamite, and I'm waiting on my Bare Necessity to arrive.
Mary Kay- I have Cream and Sugar
I also buy those cheapie $1 no-name clear glosses from the BSS, they work good too and the gloss has staying power.

ETA: I've used Victoria Secret's glosses too. They are gorgeous glosses, but they are a bit too sticky for me.

ETAA: To be truthful, all lip products wipe/wear away, depending on what you're doing. I've never believed the commercials when the woman kisses her hand and nothing comes off, for example. If it's not a lip stain, most likely, it will only stay on for so long. Especially if you're a lip licker.

I like both tinted lipsticks & tinted glosses. I actually layer my products to help them last longer.

Typically I like to wear a sheer lipstick and a dab of tinted gloss in a complimentary shade in the center. If I have time, I may even apply a sheer lip pencil as a base first.

My favorite lip gloss brands are Revlon Super Lustous glosses, Milani Taboo lipgloss. My new favorite tinted lipsticks are from Sephora from their Lip Attitude Glamour collection. L'Oreal Colour Juice Sticks are great also.

I lightly line my lips with either a neutral, brown or a reddish-brown pencil, then add a tinted gloss and smoosh my lips together to blend. I like the look but, you're right, it doesnt last long.

I use all MAC lipliners and glosses. I'm allergic to some brands of make-up, so if something doesnt swell my face/lips up I stay with it. MAC works for me.

Tinted lip gloss, I hate lipstick. Right now I'm using some by Bare Escentuals and I just bought a Revlon Colorstay Metallic one that is kinda bronze/gold'ish.

I'm not into lipstick so it's tinted lipgloss all the way. I've been stuck on Victoris's secret for the longest. But i would like to try some MAC soon.

Tinted lipgloss any day :)! My favourite at the moment is Prescriptives Tinted Balm in Mulberry. I also like Body Shop and MAC lipglosses.

I like lipstick. I do wear clear lipgloss and I line my big ole lips with a pencil liner. I have no favorite lipstick. I look better in chocolates any brand will do.

I would like to like lipstick, I use to think it was too old fashion, then I figured if I get the right shade I could rock it. I know it doesnt matter the lip size, but I haven't found the right shade. Plus lipstick is too dry for my lips, and I feel as though it dries my lips out.

I vote tinted lipgloss, I can remember the color names for most of them. I use MAC, I have a MAC sunscreen lip gloss its a light tan color and I love it, and then I have some MAC lipgelee's, the one color I can remember is saphoric.

i love tinted lip gloss! my favorite is the bigelow from bath and body works. they give great shine, taste great and freshen your breath. love it!

I love tinted lip gloss.
My favorites are Revlon's Super Lustrous lip gloss in Raisin Glaze and Loreal Colorjuice in Iced Latte (both are sheer nudes on me), but I have tons of other colors. I just ordered a couple from Philosophy, Clinique and Urban Decay from Sephora the other day (had a little shopping spree! lol). I just can't help myself.
