TATOO REMOVAL/DARK SKIN

Do yall know anyone with dark skin who had a tatoo removed?...if so, how does his/her skin look where the tatoo was?

I don't know anyone who's had a tattoo removed. What method are you considering? Laser removal? I'm assuming calling the facility in which you plan to get it removed to ask about the after effects might be best? Bumping for others to respond!

I have a friend who has had her tattoo removed with laser and it was not pretty. She's actually light-skinned. Basically there's a big shape where her tattoo used to be that is lighter then the rest of her body so its very obvious. I want my two tattoos removed so bad but after seeing her and knowing that I scar so easily; i wont even take any chances. Have you heard of wrecking balm? Its a very popular topical cream that's supposed to remove tattoos. You can google it; it actually has good reviews. I haven't tried it but i plan on ordering it soon.

Thanks...I actually just heard of wrecking balm the other day...I might give it a try...

I remember this girl who was getting her tatoo removed a while ago by getting aloe vera injected into her tatoo to remove the ink...she said the lady would inject the aloe vera then pat/press it out with a cloth...when the aloe vera came out, the ink did too...she had to go back in sessions because it was time consuming...when I met her, she had more than half of it removed and said she had about two or three more sessions to go...it was on her neck and I could see where the other part of the tatoo was because it was still a little puffy...but all of the ink was completely gone from that side...she said the lady told her the puffiness would go away within a few weeks....

I never saw her again and don't remember the name of the place where she said she was getting it done at (some spa)....I haven't been able to find anyone else that has heard of this but that's really what I would love to try.

That sounds like that rejuvi method. I read somewhere about tattoo-ers injecting peroxide (it's some old method, sounds painful though)

I've heard of TCA peels getting the job done, but idk how that works out for dark skin.
