ladies,

there are cute maxi-dresses in Banana Republic right now, but it's 37 degrees outside where i live. :cold:

how can I rock this dress without making it look matronly or dowdy? how can I keep the cute? won't a jacket kill the silhouette?

Tight leggings/a silk slip underneath (silk because it hold in heat, better), and a gorgeous cashmere/soft wool shawl/drape (long, about 24 inches wide, 50odd inches long, I think is the size I'm thinking of) on top. :yep:

I would probably just save it for the warmer months.

Beautiful dress!
