Lately I've been (slowly) losing weight. But I swear I've been itching like crazy! I haven't added anything new to my diet, no new laundry detergent, nothing outside of the norm.
The pregnancy stretchmarks on my stomach itch the most.
I remember itching when I was gaining weight while pregnant because my skin was stretching. But do you itch when your skin shrinks too???
Is this normal?

I always itch when I drop weight quickly - I think it's a combination of skin shrinking, and toxins being released from the fat going out through the skin. Lots of lotions/butters/oils and moisture to my skin is the only thing - ooooh, and regular loofa'ing/exfoliation - that helps.

Thanks! I read somewhere that I should start doing some salt scrubs while I'm in the shower. I'm at work rubbing some palm butter on my belly since I'm itching like crazy.

Oooh, salt scrubs would be nice, too.
Also, makes sure you are taking in plenty of water - if it is caused by toxins, that'll encourage your body to flush them out the 'normal' way, rather than going straight through the skin.

:yep: My skin has been itching too. Get a dry skin brush and brush before your shower to move the lymph around!

this is likely not your case, but itching can be caused by liver congestion. Maybe try a good detox.
