I am a curvy girl.. I am like an hour glass, thick calves, big thighs, big (not humongous) butt, small waist, and big boobs. My friend suggest that I wear tights and a regular tee to go to a party tonight. I bought the tights already and they fit well, im just skeptical to wearing then with out a long top. Their ideas is tights a graphic tee and a cute vest with a pump! :perplexed
Any suggestions? Has anyone tried this? If so, did you think it was cute. I need opinions ASAP as the party is 2morrow and I am running out of options.

How curvy are we talking? Do you have any tummy?
How do you think you look in the outfit?
I think the outfit I am picturing is cute but on more petite ladies. There is a threshold of curvyiness where such an outfit goes from looking cute to looking like a stuffed sausage.

I see a lot of ladies rocking the tights. As long as you don't look bumpy and look toned in the tights. I would probably rock a longer shirt. I would rock just tights but for me I would wear a big or long sweater with it. My legs are pretty toned.

I've been struggling with tights as pants as well. Me and my buns don't feel comfortable in them unless the shirt covers the booty. Thats my hang up tho. The outfit sounds really cute and I think as long as you rock it with confidence, it'll be hot. Have fun

They're fine as long as your butt is covered and you don't have dimples in the butt and thighs.

i do it. i'm cury and my figure is very similiar to kim's.
and like you i don't have cellulite or jiggly legs. but i do wear a shirt that covers my butt like this one because it's just too much with a donk and tights.

It could look really nasty especially if you're curvy.
I say go for it if the fabric of the tights is super thick. (EXPRESS HAD SOME)
If there are kind of sheer and light weight... a TUNIC is very necessary!

I would say no to the tights as pants :nono:
Why not just get some leggings?

Now if your talking bout thick chicks that maybe something all together different. Curves come in all sizes big and small. :lachen: Tights have the white crouch in the middle usually and leggings don't which are usually a lil thicker. What Kim K has on looks nice on her.

wear leggings all the time as pants....they look super cute with vests, sweaters, shirts..can be dressed up or down.....i may be similar shaped to you from what you describe....however I also feel comfortable in them....no matter how you think you look or how anybody else thinks you look, if you don't feel comfortable or are self conscious wear what makes you feel comfy, at ease, relaxed and sexy....because no matter what you have on, how you feel and the energy you give off is more important
since this is late and the party is over...thats just for future references
