It doesn't matter if you are a MUA that's been in the game since Janice Dickson first strutted her stuff on the cat walk or if you just started yesterday. I've seen a couple of threads on here about getting started as a freelance MUA. I think it's worth of it's own thread so here it is. I've been putting my kit together, and for most MUAs it doesn't stop there is always something new/better/prettier.

Ben Nye Fireworks Wheel $15.00 - these colors are pretty, very pretty for highlights and accents. Don't sleep on BN, they have been in the business for a very long time and they make great makeup that is used by artists everywhere. Brushes
Crown Brushes Italian Badger Set - these brushes are soft and best of all cheap.

MUFE Flash Pallet - this awesome there are 12 beautiful colors that you can use in any way you see fit. You can use them as a base for your e/s, use them to darken a foundation, use them as blush or concelor. A tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit goes a long way. These are highly pigmented and very creamy.
