Ok, so I was watching Oprah yesterday & Bey looked gorgeous! Does anyone have ideas on how to recreate the look? The blush especially was nice - the color was beautiful & it looked like she was glowing from within. Sorry for the unflattering poses, but these were the only pics I could find.

You want to start with a very smooth and luminescent base. Options include a full face of foundation (not my personal fave) or spot concealing (if necessary) and a light tinted moisturizer. Becca's luminous skin color is great for that. MAC's face and Body foundation (tinted moisturizer) has a very glowy quality as well. If you want to skip base I would use a illuminating product to give skin a glow in key places. Either liquid highlighter mixed with your moisturizer or powder highlighter in a warm shade brushed on the bridge, top of the cheek bones, and tip of the chin. Her brows are set so a brow gel is in order. I like Max Factor's clear mascara.

MAC magrittes paint looks exactly like that on me. I watched the repeat on a high def TV so I was THIS close to the TV. I could see her pores.
I can't remember if magrittes is still available, but if not then MAC's patina and soba eyeshadow definitely. Both are neutral to slightly cool medium brown eyeshadows with soft shimmer. Her eyeshadow didn't appear too warm toned. Apply to lid and carry up and then highlight with a soft and transparent champagne like Chanel's lotus eyeshadow. MAC's rice paper or shroom (usual go-tos) would be too harsh and frosty, IMO.

For blush a pigmented cool pink. Lorac's desire is just like that and it has a very luminescent shimmer. A more pigmented and slightly darker option is Nars mata hari or desire blush. For dark complexion (darker than Bey) Bobbi Brown's plum or peony blush. The latter three don't have shimmer. Milani would be a good option for a drug store brand for blush.

Lip gloss - Hmmmm...I have to check my stash at home and come back to that one.

Bey has very nice skin, I wonder what her skin care regimen is. You can tell when people have bad or ok skin and have just covered it up w/a bunch of makeup. I like this look as well OP. I thought she looked nice overall on the show.

For her lips, it looks like she's wearing a pink lipstick (I'm not sure which shade or brand) with MAC's Underage lipglass over it. Underage is my fave lippie in the whole wide world!

If you absolutely can't pull off a cool blush MAC's dollymix is a warmer version of the shimmery pink. Here's a pic

Yes, this is very true. Bey's skin without makeup is very smooth & practically flawless. :yep: I use an AHA product daily & it gives me that smooth look.

LOL! Sorry, I tried to give a warning! I like her lashes too. Does anyone have mascara recs?

Thanks for the input, Sleek! I have Mata Hari & it gives the same "look" as Bey's blush, though not the *exact* color. I'm gonna check out Desire & see how it compares.

When you said mix a liquid highlighter with moisturizer, should you apply all over the face or just in the places you mentioned (cheekbone, chin, & nose bridge)? Also do you have other recs for the brow highlight besides the Chanel?

Are there any more recs for the lips?

She looked so radiant on the show...slitghtly off topic, but was this a lacefront?

Also do you think she is using foundation in these pics?

I dunno about the foundation (she probably is), but her hair doesn't look lacefront-ish to me. I'm guessing it's a weave. Some people think it's her hair.

She was just on the cover on InStyle & she said she uses Natura Bisse Diamond Creme.

I thought she looked great on Oprah & was wondering what she had on her face, thanks for this thread.

Try desire, MAC's dollymix or Nars angelika. Those are all babydoll shimmery pinks.

If you're using a very finely milled luminizer, something like Becca's shimmering skin perfector, MAC's strobe cream or Lorac's luminizer then you can mix it with your moisturizer/foundation and apply all over so it'll give the skin a glowing appearance. If it's something more obviously shimmery, an actual highlighter then I'd only highlight specific areas - brow bone, top of the cheek bone, down the bridge of the nose, on the very edge of the center lip line, and tip of the chin. In her case, her skin looks luminescent not really "shimmery" so I'd do a low key luminizer like MAC's strobe cream all over otherwise I'd limit the highlighter to specific areas. I can see her MA used highlighter on her cheeks, bridge and chin.

In my absence I tried to find a similar lip color to hers. I saw one at MAC. A mauvey pink, but forgot the name. It's probably easiest to achieve using a pink lipstick and topping it with a baby pink gloss.

I'm sorry that's just too much blush for me.
But everything else is great.
