Any tried and tested products that work to shrink pores?

Thanks.

Tammy, you can try this remedy for enlarged pores.

LARGE PORES REMEDY

Mix table salt and buttermilk into a paste. Work well into the area where pores tend to be enlarged. Remove with warm water and repeat several times a week until the condition clears up.

You can find this recipe and tons of others at.

Hey Tammy, I'm a fellow large pore gal. I've been researching this same topic on the web for a couple weeks now. What I've found out so far, is that most people with visible pores have very oily skin. Our skin produces an excess amount of sebum which makes the pores enlarged. This is something that is hereditary and cannot be "cured". However, there are ways to make them appear smaller. Make sure you wash your face daily with a mild cleanser (gel if possible). Use a moisturizer that is non-comedogenic, contails no oil and is very light. follow up with a good sunscreen. Applying a mask 2x per week helps to clean out the pores. Queen Helene Mint Julep mask is great for this. It's also good for drying up pimples as they start to form. When choosing a cleanser and moisturizer for your face, look for something that has AHA (glycolic acid) and or BHA (salylic acid). These exfoliate the skin and prevents dead skin layers from building and clogging the pores. I am in the process of putting together a skincare regime right now. I will report back and let you know if I come up with anything else. If you have any more questions or would like to know what I'm using, send me a PM. Talk to ya later. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I saw a product that is supposed to shrink pores at GNC but of course I don't remeber the name. It costs $9.99 and its in a small tube in the cosmetic section of GNC. You could check there.

Thanks ladies for your responses.

Armyqt, I purchased the Mint Julepe mask over the weekend. I've heard a lot about it, tried it and it's a definite keeper.
