I give up with this stuff. It does work as far as not coming off at all but it makes my lips feel awful. Like two dry pieces of bread being rubbed together. I use the gloss that comes with it too and still it's like all the moisture is being zapped out of my lips. I have deep lines in my lips (always have) so maybe this is why this stuff dosen't work for me. It settles in those lines and dries my lips out and I look like I have old lady lips. Awful stuff.

Has anybody had any luck with this stuff or is it just me? I don't think Beyonce even had this junk on in that commercial.....they lied to me, lol.

Also....I need suggestions for a good matte, long wearing lipstick....like a lip stain you know. Something natural looking, not glossy (already have a glossy one). I wish I could find a pic of what I'm looking for.

I'm glad you reviewed this. I too have deep lines on my lips, always have. I keep passing by this and looking at it longing for it. I guess there was a reason I never bought it. I guess I have to take a pass. I trust your review.
I know what you're looking for. I'm looking for the same thing and haven't been able to find it. Hope someone can come in with suggestions.
OT: Your hair is beautiful, Ma!

Maybe you guys can try Benefits Benetint. I hear it's a decent lip and cheek stain, and if you hate it Sephora has a great return policy. Becca also has a lip & cheeck stain that you can try out.

I'm gonna try this since I'm really into lip stains now, thanks. I love Sephora and yes their return policy is great.

I tried this and it REALLY stuck to my lips....

And my cups....

And my forks....

And my hair....

And my spoons....

And everything my lips touched.

I also have deep lines in my lips and it made them all the more obvious and gave me "p0rn star shine". Blegh. :nono:

Longwearing lipsticks tend to be drying. I felt like my lips were going to crack and bleed after trying Mac's long lasting lipstick a few years ago. That gloss doesn't help one bit.

This is what I have and although I wish they had come up with a better applicator, I do like the gloss. It gives a nice shine and lasts for a pretty good while too.

I found this out the hard way when using one of MaxFactor's lipsticks. It was the one that glided on as a gloss, and once it dried, you had to apply the lip moisturizing balm that comes along with it. If it wasn't for that moisturizing balm, I don't know what I would have done b/c that stuff dried my lips out something terrible!

you might want to try cover girl outlast. i was skeptical at first but i have purchased 3 shades. it definitely lasts and isn't as drying as most formulas. you do have to use the gloss every 6 hours or so, which i think is pretty good.

I have the Benetint lip stain and for me, it is not that long wearing and does not stain at all :nono:. It feels more like a regular gloss. I use it on both my cheeks and my lips since it is not drying.

I recently bought Infallible Lip Gloss in Raisin and it works well for me. It is the one with only one brush, with no clear gloss on the tube :yep:
