Beginner runner shoes

can any one rec a good pair? I would love to take up running/jogging and would love recs on a great pair of shoes for on/off a treadmill. TIA

before you choose a shoe you have to make sure what type of feet you have. meaning do are you an over pronate, pronate or combo. To check you can wet the bottom of your foot then step on a piece of paper to leave a foot print. The difference is how much meat in between the balls and heel you leave behind. then you have to get the shoe to match. get the wrong shoe and you will wonder why you don't like them. Running mag usually has some good suggestions. since I don't have my mag in front of me I can't be more specific but I'm sure you can google or check running mag.
