Differin gel- any comments??

Hey girls~
My doctor recently prescribed me Differin gel. But I dont think she really understands that my problem is hyperpigmentation after a pimple. I very rarely get pimples but when I do it always leaves behind a scar, and I only need something that will diminish the scar. But isn't differin gel for pimples/acne. I am not the case of "problem skin". Does anybody here know anthing about Differin gel??? Is it wowrth it?

yes my old derm prescribed differin to me but it is supposed to stop acne-- I think what your doc is trying to do is prevent pimples from happening before you get a mark-- so its preventing dark spots. You might want to ask him/her for a prescription of lusta AF (ask allandra she uses this) or triluma( i used this and it worked great). Also Azalex is like differin but it has a bleaching agent so it can also fade spots and fight the pimple at the same time.

See my post under 'even skin tone'. I used to use Lustra AF. It worked well, and I'm pleased with the results. I'm now using Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 with UVA/UVB Sunscreen. You can read more about that also under 'even skin tone'. HTH.

I started using that too Allandra. I still have a lot of it left but am using aveeno's skin brightening daily moisturizer SPF 15.
