I recently purchased what I thought was going to be my beloved Breville Juicer. What I found out is that I should've gone the cheaper route and purchased a vitamix. It doesn't yield a decent amount of juice at all. I thought I was going to be okay with this and just eat the pulp, but it takes a lot out of me to eat it straight that way. I was thinking about juicing the pulp in hopes of gaining more.
Those who have a vitamix, does it really chop/grind the vegetables and fruit to the point where you don't swallow chunks?

 Yes, it does. I just bought on a week ago and haven't had any issues with chunks. I have put carrots, and apples in a drink and it came out smooth.
I have also put cashews in it for a sauce and it was smooth as well.
If you are not happy, see if you can take it back :yep:

I ordered a Vitamix yesterday, and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Bubblin, if you purchased it from an established company, you can return it and get your money back. Unless you purchased it off eBay, because some of those vendors don't have money back guarantees.

Thanks ladies. I purchased it from Linen's and Things. I will clean it and attempt to return it. I wonder if they'll take it back without it being in it's original box.

Or if not. Girl i'm sure you can sell it on ebay, for what you paid (+/-) some. Give it a try. Hope it works out.

My error they are not. I just assumed since it's a blender it would be cheaper, but I checked the prices and WOWSA!! Bad boys are about 400.00!!

I read somewhere that vitamix could liquify wood. I only have chunks when I want them.

I have had my vitamix blender now for just a few years and the thing liquifies everything!!:yep:
I also own a Champion Juicer and it extracts tons of juice with minimal pulp. I prefer using the vitamix simply because its easier clean-up!! I hope you can return the breville.
