Beginner Makeup Tips

I need to girly my life up and need help. I tend to stick with lipgloss and keep it moving. The weird thing is that I have the tools, but don't know what to do with them.

Are there any step by step guides or websites anyone can recommend? My birthday is in a few weeks and I need to shock and awe. I tried a search and it was a no go.

There are tons of youtube vids that will help.


Key things to remember is blend. You don't dont want to see any harsh lines or where one color starts and the other ends.
Finding your exact foundation match and formula. (for some it take a few colors and different placement of the colors.)
Skin. Your skin is very important. Exfoliate, prep and prim, moisturize, etc.
AND where what is comfortable to you!!!

I think the five minute face is the one for me! You ladies in the makeup forum gave me a few good utube makeup chicas to subscribe to when I do want to wear some real makeup. Thanks! I got brush and a makeup list ready now! I guess I'll break down and buy some foundation.

i really like the enkoremakeup videos he has info on there about everything from what brushes are good, cheap brushes that are just like the mac brushes, how to clean brushes, all kinds of info about eyeshadow and eyeshadow finishes etc.
