I've done tons of reading on eating raw, recipes, etc...but there are still lots of questions unanswered. I want to go raw only to see if it helps with my acne.
1. Has anyone experienced any skin benefits of eating raw?
2. I'm petitie and toned I don't want to lose any weight does everyone lose weight?...If so is there anyway to avoid the weight loss?
3. When ppl say start by slowly adding raw foods daily besides the obvious (carrots, celery, and fruits..) How do you eat greens raw? (Just wash and eat)
Thanks ladies any help would be appreciated...

My skin looked great to start with, so I didn't notice any difference. Some people experience skin breakouts because the body is detoxing, but eventually the skin gets better from what i have read. For your acne, make sure you eat plenty of dark green or reddish leaves lettuces, the chlorophyl in them is a blood cleanser.

If you don't want to lose weight, make sure you eat more nuts. The fat and oil in nuts will keep you from losing weight. But be careful, too much nuts may aggravate your acne. You might try to eat more sprouts, they have tons of proteins and will keep you from losing weight. You can grow your own easily. Check out old threads on sprouting.
3. When ppl say start by slowly adding raw foods daily besides the obvious (carrots, celery, and fruits..) How do you eat greens raw? (Just wash and eat)
I have a juicer and I add greens like red chard to my juices. Other than that, I can eat raw lettuce, spinach, green beans, and I love raw cauliflower. Word of caution about eating raw cauliflower and broccoli (all cruciferous vegetables): they have thyroid lowering nutrients, so what I do is add kelp or dulse (seaweed) flakes to my raw meal, to balance this effect.

My skin's texture and clarity improved. It wasn't bad before but it took more time effort and product to keep it there.

I can't help you there. I went raw to lose weight and despite the fact that I've now surpassed my weightloss goal (-50lbs) I'm still losing weight.
The most calorically dense foods raw foodies eat are avocado, oils, nuts, and seeds. You need to incorporate more of those if you find yourself losing undesired weight.

While I love a nice spinach and field greens salad as much as the next girl, I eat more of my greens in smoothies. They're called green smoothies because they're made up of fresh fruit and green leafy veggies. The sky's limit as far as combinations. Pick your favorites but make sure you use more fruit than veggies.
