Ladies,

I decided to try some false eyelashes yesterday. went to the salon and had them put on (individuals). Im sick of them already and want them OFF! I went on line looking for solutions and the only alternatives I could find to actual false eyelash remover solution (because i cant find any of that in the stores I've gone 2) was to use olive oil or eye makeup remover. i have tried both and neither are working. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Wow, thats weird that the olive oil and eye makeup remover didn't work. What did they use to appy them with, superglue? Maybe you should go back to the salon that applied them and have them take the lashes off.

I am so sorry you're going through that. I don't think a remover for lashes exists... BUT it shouldn't be all that hard to get them off. I wonder if they used hair glue or actual lash glue- some places use hair glue. :perplexed: Usually just rubbing your eyes should do it- the tears will make the lashes come off. If nothing else, the oil should've worked to break down the glue. I agree with Sapphire. The place you got them should know how to get them off, I wish you the best of luck.

Ouch!! So sorry....A remover exists, please use care when taking them off. you can cause alot of damage if you just pull them. The remover is made by Ardell and a little goes a long way. HTH. I wear them PM me if you havent gotten them off for some suggestions.

Did you let the olive oil/makeup remover sit for awhile before attempting to remove the lashes? Since you just got the lashes applied yesterday, the bond of the glue is pretty strong still. The oil or remover breaks the bonds in the glue, the longer it sits on the area, the more the bonds will be broken and the easier it will become to remove the lash.

I hear that baby oil gel works. Something about it being thicker and having the right consistency to pull the glue off. Maybe you should give it a try.
