Looking for suggestions. I've been using Bath & Body Works for years but my skin is so dry I know the sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) amongst other ingredients they use are not helping. I do use Carol's Daughter body oil, butter, and scrubs. They have been a lifesaver for my skin. I was planning to switch over to her body cleansers but now she is reformulating and her stuff won't be available until mid December. I can't wait that long. I have purchased Burt's Bees Citrus & Ginger Root and Milk & Shea Butter body washes. I am hoping they will work for me. If not, I would like to have a plan a and b ready to go. I am interested in Karen's Body Beautiful. I like the ingredients and I like the many different scents. The only reason I chose Burt's Bees instead is because I heard in relation to her hair care products that the scents are overpowering. Does anyone know if it is the same with her body washes? Do you have any other suggestions for natural body washes that do not contain SLS? TIA.

Shikai bodywashes are good and Crabtree and Evelyn has a line called Naturals with gel, foam and creamy washes. I use both lines and I am happy with them.

Thanks. I will take a look at Crabtree & Evelyn, right now! The shikai bodywashes--do you have to make & mix them yourself?

No Shikai is a brand you can find at most healthfood stores, Trader Joes and Whole Foods. No mixing required they have oatmeal and aloe which really soothes the skin.

Thanks again! I shop at TJ's and WF. I ventured over to the body care aisle at WF's for the first time a few weeks ago. I had specific things I was buying so I didn't look at much else. I will be looking for Shakai next time.

You can always try Dr. Bronners - their washes are made with Castile Soap. I personally don't find them to be too drying on the skin. The scents are natural and strong though. They do have a baby wash that is unscented. But their most popular one is probably pepermint. But when I say mint, WHOO it is MINTY!!

I noticed that Giovanni has body washes too. I use the Giovanni Direct Leave In in my hair wet or dry right now and I really like it. Looks like the next time I go to TJ's and WF I need to take a good look at their body washes.
