They have lots of these for sale on EBAY. I'm thinking about bidding on one with the basics first(7 basic moves of pilates) to see if I like it. Thats' much cheaper than buying the whole set brand new.

I have the winsor pilates tapes but I don't even bother to do them. They are just excercises. It is not a cardio workout. When you get the tapes it has a pamphlet that tells you to go walking for cardio. I don't have time to go walking and then do the tapes;that's why I got that tapes so I wouldn't have to go walking. If you get the tapes remember you won't lose any weight by just doing the tapes because it is not a cardio workout. I would suggest buying the firm tapes or taking a dance class.

i love the advanced windsor pilates tape /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif! i had to buy the entire set just to get it and i gave the other tapes to my sister. it is a part of my regular workout routine. 2 days a week. it's awesome . no other workout has made me feel so calm and relaxed afterwards /forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif . really. it's like the tension and stress diminish afterwards. I'm totally calmed and relaxed, and the hour goes by sooo fast! i use it for toning, and it targets & tones every part of your body. the more you do it, the more flexible you become. i specifically purchased it for toning.
as for cardio, i have taebo advanced for that which i love and i'm also a runner anywayz.

Ebony, I have my eye on the Windsor Advanced Slimming tape. Is that the one you have? I read reviews on it on collagevideo.com and it sounds very good.
I too still do Tae Bo (which I love) and its nice to have a REALLY good pilates tape to elongate limbs and make you more flexible which is what I'm looking for.
Windsor *may* be the one...

BRH,
i use and really like the winsor pilates accelerated body sculpting /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. i don't recall the body slimming one, but i'm sure it's good /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. the rest of the set i just gave to my sister. i remember when my best friend purchased it in august and raved about it, i went to her house to watch each tape and do the exercises. although pilates was new to me, i knew the accelerated was more of my speed. my sister on the otherhand was like, hell, no /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif! give me the slowest beginners tape you have! my body has to adjust!
*just a side note-i still can't get over how my body is totally calmed and destressed after this workout /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif!! although it may be a taebo day on my calendar, i will do pilates if i am stressed /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif from the day!*
hmmm....is the body slimming new or part of the set for sale?

Ebony, Go to www.collagevideo.com (http://www.collagevideo.com) and type pilates on the left and click 'go' it will pull up all the pilates tapes including the one I have my eye on. Below I copy/pasted some users views of the Advanced Body Slimming tape and it can be purchased by itself which is a big plus. On that site you can preview approx 15 seconds of the tape to see if you like what you see.
Great Tape

This tape is short but it really get you moving. I didn't believe it when Mari said you would be sweating. Not only does this tape target and tone muscle but it also gets you burning calories. You do need to have some experience with Pilates before trying this tape. I recommend both the orginal 3 tape set and this tape. I like to alternate this tape with the other tapes from her series. You will not be disappointed with this tape.
A must have!

The ultimate in body slimming. I wouldn't consider buying the full set unfortunate either...You gotta start somewhere. If you're familiar with the pilates routines, then by all means look for this tape seperately. But it never hurts to have the full set, especially when you have friends interested in getting started that you can loan it to. Plus, you never know when you might hit a set back, like having an injury that forces you to start all over. I had an injury that kept me from doing any exercise for 4-6 weeks....and I was blessed to have the full set to work back up to this ultimate slimming workout! It really does slim your muscles and tone your entire body!
GREAT ADVANCED TAPE!!

It's super unfortunate that I had to order all those unnecessary tapes to get to this one good tape, but this tape is REALLY REALLY good for people already experienced in Pilates. It gives challenging and fun exercises, the cueing and directions are clear, and this is all packed in under 20 minutes! Buying all those other tapes are not worth it, but if you can get this tape individually, GO FOR IT!
I like that the tape makes you feel relaxed. I'm after one that actually does elongate and slim down the body over time and make me flexible. I'm a stiff as a board.

hey, girl. i checked out the advanced slimming tape and i think i'm going to order it and add it to my workout routine /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. it's winsor, so i'm happy about that....and it's advanced and targets your abs. they also have one for thighs/buns which i'd like, but it's beg/inter and i NEED advanced. the 20 min will help during the weekends when i don't have much time to workout, or i can add it to a workout as well..like, 20 min pilates with my 30 minute taebo tape or use it alone in the evening if i've already worked out at the gym that day.
i read the comments you posted from folks who've used and bought the tape. wow! the last chick said that it helped her feel relaxed, or something like that /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. that's what i've been trying to tell everyone. i've been working out for half my life and i've never felt "relaxed or de-stressed" after a workout until i started with winsor pilates!!! it is truly unbelievable how calm i feel. for me it's only after the workout though, not during. my bo or anyone could be in the worst mood /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif, but i'm so relaxed that i couldn't care less /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif...relaxed enough to fall right asleep and get a good rest /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif...honest /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif! thanks for leading me to that video /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif!
Well, I ordered the advanced slimming tape so I hope to see some results. People insist they are losing weight with these types. I'll believe it when I see it. I do have to admit that Pilates and Yoga is quite addictive though.

Please review the advanced slimming tape for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I have the Windsor Pilates 20 mins and the accelerated body sculpting tapes now. I really need to up my Pilates because the one thing about me is that I'm as stiff as a board. I'm soooo unflexible. I'm hoping these will loosen me up. I hate sitting on the floor, legs apart and hardly moving 2 inches forward /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif My goal is to have my chest inches from the floor instead!
We'll see.
Other than Lanza another thing we have in common. I have been stretching for 3 months and my thighs are still tight. I just don't think they have the capability of being flexible.

Don't feel bad, I've been using Winsor tapes for a month, and I am so not flexible, however my butt, abs, and thighs are firming right on up!
I am trim as well. For some reason, my upper thighs will not flex.
I bought the Advanced Slimming tape off Ebay. I viewed the tape and it is only 21 minutes but it is definitely not for the faint at heart. The main problem is that she goes very fast and it is for people who are VERY flexible. If you are not yet flexible, you probably would have a problem doing the tape.
I haven't tried it yet but probably will wait until I am more flexible.

So, y'all just do the Winsor Pilates tapes, and it makes y'all thinner? Do y'all know if the thinning part is as good or better than The Firm. I'm using The Firm, and I don't think I'm getting thinner, well just a little, but I want more results. I've been using it for about 3 weeks.

Hello Miss J. I have only been doing Winsor Pilates for a little over a month, I wouldn't say the tapes alone have made me thinner, it has tightened my thighs, abs, and butt. IMO the accerlated tape (which is what I use) is only designed to firm, not so much to loose weight. I wanted my stomach flattened so I just began to watch what I eat. So I think that contributed to my abs firming so quickly. However, The Firm has had alot of praises, although I haven't tried it- you may want to ask BrownRelaxedHair, as she (I think) likes it alot. Miss J,
Although I do like The Firm alot, I've started to notice teeny differences e.g. my arms more sculpted and as though I'm more beefy/wide across the chest which actually I do not like at all. I'm using 3 & 6 pound dumbells with the odd 10 pound set for squats/lunging. My body type is one that reacts fast to weights so I can't speak for anyone else so I'm doing more cardio stuff now instead to reduce weight, and not build up. My fave at home is Tae Bo Get Ripped. Any strong cardio is good for weight loss.
I've reduced The Firm weight exercising down and upped the cardio instead. The ideal is cardio sessions and then weights sessions (or combined in one session like Firm) as you get the weight loss and muscle toning. Its up to you to adjust your sessions to which you want to do more of.
ps. cutting down on sugar and refined foods helps alot too.

I did it yesterday and my EZ Crunch tape for the Abs, Thighs and Butt was a lot harder. With the advanced slimming tape, your ab muscles have to be STRONG and, since I have been doing yoga and so forth, it wasn't too bad. The exercises are really difficult for a beginner though. I actually did start to sweat a little.

I have been using the Winsor Pilates Bun&Thigh Sculpting off and on for a few months and have noticed some good results.
