What are you using on your face?

Are you moisturizing?

I usually wash with warm water and end my wash with cold water.

Did the dry patch just appear, or have you had it always? Is it itchy? Have you been doing anything different lately? What's your diet like?

If it's not something you've had before, I'd see a dermatologist just to make sure it isn't something that needs medical treatment, like a ringworm or eczema.

What is your skin regimen? Have you tried the oil cleansing method? I know coconut oil is great for skin and skin conditions, and some people use it in their oil cleansing and love it. So maybe you could try it? At least you know it won't be making things worse since it is natural and doesn't have any side effects and is probably safer than any of the products with chemicals that you might be using.

I suggest rinsing that patch with lukewarm water, and then immediately applying Eucerin cream or Aquaphor to that patch. Do that several times a day and it should rehydrate the patch.

could be contact dermatitis. Did you wear any fake gold recently? Is your ear irritated too?

I use neutrogena bar to clean my face and neutrogena to moisturize.
My Dr. had me on Diffrin for my acne-- I have to sleep in cream.
I think I need a heavyer moisturizer -- I have always had dry skin
does not appear to get better as I get older
It is just a dry patch does not itch -- The first time I saw it was when
I was applying foundation and the texture there was different.

I just cleand my face with neutrogena scrubed the area with a scrub pad
I steamed over a hot boiled pot of water and moisturized.
Appears to be more moist at this time.

I will take any pointers
I do not know what steaming does
