Hated it! Complete Miss!
BTW, where is that hit or miss thread anyway??
So i go to Ulta because i'm looking for a good primer because my eyeshadow sticks and powders don't last an hour after application with my oily eyelids.
I went for the Urban Decay Primer Potion first but i didnt like that bottle and it looked so small for $16.
Asked the sales rep for another rec and she gave me the Too Faced. Said you get more product and the packaging allows you to get ALL of it out.
I'm gonna return it and try the UDPP or save some money and try Loreal Decrease.
Just wasn't strong enough to hold up my NYX jumbo eyeshadow stick colors. They still creased and i looked a mess.

Try putting a MAC paint in a color close to your skin tone on your eyelid. That's only thing that keeps my eye makeup in place.

What's the difference between using MAC's prep+prime eye vs. the paint pots?

I've never used the MAC prep + prime for eye. I used the paint tube method for years before the MAC primers were even made.
This is the paint that I'm talking about.

Hmmmm...Would the L'Oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paints be a good dupe for the MAC Paints?
I see they are BOGO 50% Off at Walgreens this week.
Anyone had good success with them when used as a primer/base??
And what's a good base color to use as a base in Loreal or MAC?

The HIP Line has some GREAT products (I am in LOVE with the cream liners) but the HIP paints, in my opinion, is not one of them. Crease City! I live by UDPP and MAC Paints (Bamboon is my HG)

i use a thin layer of MAC Bamboom paint and I never have a problem with creasing and I live in super hot and humid Texas. I don't know how Loreal Hip works, but you may want to give it a try. I keep a tube of MAC paint for about two years and I use it just about everyday, so it is well worth the 16.50 you pay.

wow..im shocked. i loved this product. i actually just bought the whole tube last week after finishing my sample. I used the primer in conjunction with loreal hip eyeshadows. and my shadow didn't crease, melt, AT ALL. and I wore it at a club sweating MY BALLS OFF. i couldn't believe when i came hom that my eye makeup never budged. it looked the same as it did when i left the house....too bad u didn't have a good experience with it.

I second MAC paints, paint pots and UDPP. They all work very well for me. Tip for the UDPP, you can cut the container in half and scoop out tons of product and place into a clean plastic jar. I purchased UDPP last year and I have more than 1/2 of the product left.

you have balls? :lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:
There's a youtube tutorial on getting the UDPP out of the container.

I'm surprised that the Too Faced didn't work for you. After dying to try the UDPP, (I exchanged the Too Faced for it a few days ago at Sephora) I think I prefer it to that. I'm not running to Sephora to exchange it again though.

Have you tried it without the NYX sticks? I heard some oily lids ladies say that those cause major creasing for them.

Yeah... that doesn't work for me all day. I use bamboom and it'll still crease.
