Does anyone know of a good eye cream that helps get rid of dark circles of puffy eyes??? I used to use L'oreal's Plentitude Eye Cream and it did lighten my dark circles somewhat, but I'm looking for more dramatic results if possible. As for the puffiness, hopefully it's just temporary. I'm considering trying Origins No Puffery, but I would like a product that would handle both problems.

Yea I'd like to know that too and could someone give me their opinion on any of the following products for the eyes. These are the ones I've had the most suggesions on and please suggest a new one if you'e had good results:
1. Origins no puffery
2. Lubriderm's skin renewal eye cream
3. Black opal eye cream
4. Clinique's all about eyes
5. Preperation H (for undereye puffiness and pimples)

The only on your list that I've is the Lubriderm Skin Renewal. If you suffer from milia (the little bumps or rough skin under the eye area) the poly-hydroxy acids in the cream are really good for smoothing that area out. It doesn't irritate the eyes or the skin around the eyes. I can't really say much about puffiness or dark circles being significantly diminished though. It was basically good at smoothing and moisturizing the area.
I'm using Almay's brightening eye cream and it's the best I"ve used so far. It's in drugstores.

I second the Almay's. It makes me look more refreshed than most eye creams...especially since I work nights and ALWAYS look tired.

Clarins has a new one call Eye Revive Beauty Balm. Perhaps you can request a sample.

I actually already have the Almay one. I guess I'll go a blow the dust out of it and see how it works. I'm also going to see if I can get some of the one from Clarins.
I think if you're consistent w/ it meaning put it on every day, you'll see results. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I talked to my dermatologist about this and he swears no cream will eliminate dark circles. He says they are genetic, hormonal or caused by environmental factors. I know that when my sinus and allergies are going crazy, my dark circles are bad!!! The only thing I've found to help reduce dark circles is lymphatic drainage massages around my eyes, light olive oil and ice packs with my head elevated. It sounds like a crazy process but it works for me. The ice packs also help with puffiness

I just read from a makeup artist that applying vitamin k to the area will help minimize dark circles.

For dark circles, try drinking more water! You might be surprised.
Also, I got a free unperfumed Elderflower eye gel from The Body Shop. It's great for adding moisture and relieving stress from the undereye area...
