O.K. I been on the grind and lost 34lbs so far, but now with 10 weeks until my wedding day, I have to kick my workout and diet up to the next level. Can I lose 15-20 lbs by my wedding day? I am going to try my darn hardest to. I got the dress in mind. It is a size 12 and I still have flabby arms and back. I had to squeeze into it for it to close. I am fitting into that dress.

Wow, you're down to 10 weeks already!
Congratulations on the weight loss that you've achieved so far. That is a great accomplishment. I know you can lose the weight you want to lose before your wedding!
I love your wedding dress, it's very pretty!

I know you can do it too!
Do you have a gym membership? It's time to hit the gym.
For the extra you have coming out the back of your dress and your arms,
you should be doing the seated cable row, That's VERY effective at reducing back fat and jiggly arms. At a good weight (resistance), you can see changes (with diet and cardio of course) in the space of 4 weeks!
There's lots of strength training you can do to start whittling your shape so that it's perfect for your special day, and it won't take that long.
But to go to that next level, get a two month gym membership!
(i'm a personal trainer at a local gym, and I've seen what my clients can achieve in as little as 3 weeks when they put their minds to it)

You may want to try the Master cleanse. You will see fast very noticable results. I will look for a link to a thread for you.

Thank You so much ladies... :)
I am going to try my hardest to lose and tone. I should have worked on the toning earlier, but now I am paying for it. I love my dress, but the boob, back and arm fat has got to go asap. I was planning to do the Master Cleanse as a last ditch effort towards the last 2 week prior to the wedding.

THat is definitely doable, that will be like 2 pounds a week. It sounds like you're on track w/the diet. I used the Firm to get in shape for my wedding but I only had about 5 pounds to lose. If I were you I would take metro-qt's advice and get a gym membership, sometimes they have month to month ones and I would get a personal trainer. YOur goals are very realistic.

hottopic, that dress is GORGEOUS!! Congrats on losing 34 pounds thus far. Metroqt is totally right. With diet, cardio, and strength training you should definitely reach your goal by your wedding day.
I recommend getting in on Mona Rae's clean eating challenge to ensure your diet is on point. You can make HUGE changes to your back in a matter of weeks with the proper weight training regimen. If you workout at home, I suggest the Firm Parts: Upper Body workout. It really targets the lats which will give your back a more narrow, toned look. The other Firm videos do a great job of targeting the shoulders, biceps, and triceps. You will definitely see results quickly.
Good luck and keep us abreast of your progress!

You definately can do it. I messed around and gained some weight last month (got tired, stressed, and started eating too much) and had to bust my tail at the end of July and beginning of this month. I didn't crash diet, I just intensified my workouts. And I look a WHOLE lot better. Doing a lot of cardio, some moderate weight training and eating good clean meals. I even snacked a little bit, but made sure my workouts were harder. I even worked out for 2 weeks straight. My wedding is Saturday, whether it consisted of just cardio, or other things, I moved around, and everyone can tell the difference. You have alot of time, and will be a gorgeous bride.

Thank You everyone! I need those encouraging words. I actually changed the dress, but I can't post it in fear of my future hubby seeing it online. But I will most def post before and after photos. In the meanwhile, the dress I am wearing in the photo is something close to it, at least the upper body part.

Have fun, and remember, when you get stressed, put that stress into an intense workout! Good luck!

Hottopic, I know that you can do it.
Congratulations on your weight loss so far. You seem to have a strong leg up with your diet and exercise.
I had the same dilemma as you. Only thing is that I have planned my wedding in less than 10 weeks.(it is this sunday btw) My dress is a 12 and it hardly fit when it was purchased about 6 weeks ago. I was so determined to wear it that I worked my butt out. Strength training goes a LOONG way. It has def. helped me. I've only lost about 10 pds from the time I first tried on the dress but I've lost the inches in my waist and my arms aren't as jiggly. So I went for the dress fitting Saturday and it fit beautifully. My grandma looked like  and then . I thought she would cry, she didn't think it would fit.
I say all of this to say GIRL you can do it. The shop owner said 12 pds was equal to 1 dress size.
Please keep us updated. If you need encouragement I'm here.

I know it is suppose to be one day at a time, but I am already missing my nuts. I think I viewed it as a clutch. I do over do the nuts and I feel it hindered me from major weight loss. I honestly feel I would be at my goal weight by now, if I didn't eat them so much. Today I took out 40 nuts and I plan to have them only at work. I cleared out my cabinet this morning and brought all the nuts to work. Hopefully, this will help. I just pray that I am not too hungry today. I might not have any gum today, because it makes me hungry. Maybe after lunch, but other than that I have to go cold on gum too. :( I am sad I am not at goal weight 10 weeks before the wedding, but I know I can snap into shape if I get down to it.
3:53 pm/ Ok I still managed to keep the nuts thing under semi control at work. I did over eat my allotted amount granted for the day, but it still is way better than me having it at home. At least when I leave work today that would be the end of that until tomorrow. The gum thing did not go so well either, I did have 3 pieces, but it is still better than my usual 12 pieces per day. I guess cutting back then cutting off is the best way to go.
