August 11th - Aug 28th

This challenge is specifically for those lacking in motivation and especially those who have small/medium amounts to lose and skinny-fats:look:
Every session should be viewed as seperate 6lb+ goals. After two sessions you should go down at least one dress size:kiss3:.

The mission is whatever shape you are, through overall fat loss we will create a smoother silhouette and look much better in clingy fabrics etc... If you miss the deadline you will have to join the next session which will run concurrent to this one.

HOW MANY TIMES HAS 2 WEEKS PASSED YOU BY WHILE YOU SAT AROUND "THINKING" ABOUT NEEDING TO LOSE WEIGHT??:whyme: INVEST YOUR TIME NOW!!

The Method Exercise
Maximum results:

Cardio 30 mins 5 or 6x pw
Plus dance to a set of 4 consecutive high impact songs (think "Check up on it":yep:) 3x pw *
*Please note if you can do more than a 30 min session please do so!! I lost 4lbs in a week that way

DIET

Diet/nutrition will be left mainly up to you but aim for 1,500 calories or less. Generally if you slip up and eat too much or junk food (no more than once a week), exercise after dinner as normal but add 15- 20 mins more
*Try to find healthy alternatives if you have sugar rushes. Try eating a piece of fruit before reaching for candy.
* Keep an honest food diary so you can really see how much you are eating, especially what you eat between meals
* If you crave a take away with large fries:look:, making fries at home oven fried with a grilled piece of chicken for example will carry a LOT less calories than mcdonalds, KFC etc...
* Don't buy 50 million bags of potato chips for your home because you will only be tempted to eat them! You have to stock healthy food that is also enjoyable, for example rasberries/strawberries + a small bit of cream for a treat or caramel rice cakes.

OTHER COMPULSORY STUFF

*Post your current stats, cardio of choice and schedule you can pledge for the next 2 1/2 weeks

*Check in to progress diaries once a day to update

I'm in. I've got a wedding to go to in 2 weeks and would like to drop more weight for it. My calorie intake will be between 1800-2200 calories a day. I'm 5'11" 164 pounds so 1500 calories won't even cover my basic metabolic needs, let alone fuel my workouts. The plan is to eat clean for the entire 2 weeks (I'm in Mona Rae's 30 day clean eating challenge so I won't be scheduling cheats this month).
My workouts will consist of marathon training, biking, strength training (The Firm or lightweight total body circuits from Shape magazine), yoga, and tae kwon do. My goal is to lose at least 4 lbs by August 23. Six would be even better.

P.S: Assuming I do well once I get through the next two sessions there will be not much more to loose(just one more roll):look: and I am planing a weight gain/building thread. If anyone is doing well with the sessions, has some time on their hands and would like to run/co-run OS in the future please PM me

I'm in for this one. The last session I kinda fell off on the last few days, but I did better than session 1. Now if I could just get someone to help me from leaving the gym, once I pull into the parking lot, I'll be cool. :lachen:

i'd like to join! :)

I'll be doing this in conjunction with the Cabbage Soup Diet (http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5276961), so my calories will automatically be regulated.

now i've just got to bootleg a callanetics DVD so i can have a set workout, and i'll be good to go!

i'm 5'5", and last time i checked the scale in December i was 160... so i'm probably about 165 now. in the long term, i want to get back to my high school weight of 145.

i wear a 11 in juniors, and a 8 in misses... i'd like to drop at least 1 size. not concerned about actual poundage.

so excited!!!

I need to really focus on my eating. I plan to keep a food diary this go round to see if i cant pinpoint areas for improvement.

I will aim for 3 servings of fruits and veggies a day

32 oz of water- sadly id didn't meet this last round.

Count me in. I lost a little over five pounds during session two!

ETA: I'm going to be on vacation during the middle of the session so my journal may not be udpated as much during those days.
