:wallbash:Hello. I've been having trouble with my skin since teen years. But the real thing i dislike is the whiteheads under my jaw and on my nose. My pimples come and go. I just want to squeeze these little suckers but its not worth the marks it leaves on my face so i dont do that anymore. Does anyone suggest or have a remedy or something that can make them disappear or help them?
NOthing to expensive im on a budget!:drunk:

I currently use oil of oil daily cleanser for combo skin, it also has witch hazel in it.

I believe I have combo skin, I've honestly tried almost all over the counter skin cleansers, mask, astrigents, also retin a and proactive. just no type of surgery and of that sort.

Help HElp help!

Are you using anything besides the cleanser? Moisturizer? Blemish treatment?

If none of the conventional stuff has worked, I always suggest going the natural route.

What is your diet like? How much water do you drink each day? Do you rest your face in your hand(s) throughout the day?

What types of masks have you tried?

You may want to try to exfoliate more often. Getting rid of dead skin helped me alot.

Have you considered seeing an aesthetician? Maybe getting facials will help with the nose/jaw acne?

My SO showed me this trick to get whiteheads out. push your nostrils up from their outer corners up towards the ceiling, after a few seconds you will see some very interesting stuff come out of your skin, I know it looks gross but better out than in!! :lachen:

Sounds like you need an actual regimen in place. At the very least, you need sunscreen during the day and some kind of blemish fighter at night.

Also, I would take a look at the diet. You said that you eat "everything"...if that includes junk food and a lot of processed food, I would cut WAY back on that. I would also cut back on meat and dairy and be sure to get 4-6 servings of fruits and veggies each day.

Have you tried the Aztec mask?

Do you eat a lot of fat? Does diabetes run in your family? Do you have a lot of inflammation elsewhere in your body? Do your whiteheads look more like fatty deposits or liquid? If they are more fatty, try taking chromium picolinate. Insulin regulation has a lot to do with acne.

Maybe i do eat a lot of fat.

Diabetes doesnt run in my family
No i dont have inflammation anywhere else
my whiteheads look like more of fatty deposits.
Like i can squeeze the white stuff out for hours.

is Chromium picolinate something that is used in cleanser or its used by itself?

My insulin has never been a problem(knock on wood). It's has always been above normal

thanks

I didn't know that. That makes sense.

Good that you don't have any of the other issues. My reading said that acne can be the singular evidence of insulin issues. I have weird fatty whiteheads and I've been doing some research about it. Dr. Perricone talks about the inflammation response being at the root of acne and that it isn't just manifesting in the skin. He talks a lot about an anti-inflammatory diet. He also talks a lot about sugar/insulin and what it does in the pores.

Chromium is a mineral supplement. Most people are deficient because of the SAD diet. I'm sure it isn't a miracle solution, but I'm going to give it a try.

Have you tried products with tea tree oil in them?
I use a facial wash from Body shop, and toner/wipes from Superdrug which has really helped my skin during the last week, because I had a serious breakout :perplexed
