This sounds really good even though its the very first ever Firm video.

Now that I've talked myself into the whole Firm thing, has anyone tried this one? I'm reading so many good reviews on it.

I have a frim basic body scuplting tape. The one I purchased is one of the older tapes but it does give a good workout. The tape is 60 mins long with weights. I love the tape it make me sweat and it really tones my muscles. So it this is the tape that you have let me know. I just can not remeber the instuctors name /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Its apparently the very first one made and you don't need a step, just weights. The cover is of a woman in a yellow leotard I believe...

I just read its soooo good and one of the best even though its the first. I think the woman on the front is blonde too.

Yes that the one I have. It is really good make sure that you have both light and heavy weight, because you will change between the weights. The first time I did it I was hard making it throught the full 60 mins. But you will enjoy I would suggesst purchasing the tape. If you do so let me know if you like it

I have it. It's very 80's...
It's high impact aerobics and weight training exercises. Even when I was in great shape I couldn't get through the floorwork segment of this video! Some of the moves are unsafe by today's standards. i.e. using weights during a high impact aerobic routine. Advanced exercisers will know what moves to modify.
Susan Harris is a great instructor, too.

Thanks Sassy, I ordered this and can't wait to try it out.

I have the Total Body Shaping Mix and Cardio Split and heard this one was good so we'll see. I was after a really challenging one.

Thanks!

A friend of mine bought this program. She has been workig out for years. She said that the tapes were so old that the people were wearing leotards and leg warmers. She also said that they went too fast for anyone to get a good work out. I asked because I was thinking about trying this.

The tapes is old because I have it. But it does not go to fast ,not to me .If you can get past the oldest of the tape it is a very good work out,

I spoke to someone else about this tape who gave it two big thumbs up. I'll see how it is when it arrives.

I tried the old ones that the video rental place had before I bought the new program. I liked it because it was a real work out. I did buy the new one with the fanny lifter and 4 different tapes. I really do like it better than the old one.The instructor in the old tapes was unreasonably skinny which made me uncomfortable. The Firm is different than other workout tapes that just have you jump around a few minutes. The firm made me sore the first time, but it hurt so good!

I have this tape. I have some newer Firms as well but the old ones are more effective in my opinion. The floor work is amazing.

You will burn with this tape. Please make sure you give your body a day of rest in between doing the workout though. If your muscles do not have time to recover you run the risk of overtraining and wont be able to see results
