I love salt. I love salty foods. I put salt on pretty much everything. I want to lose weight and i'm drinking more water, so i know i'm going to have to cut back. for the rest of this week i'm going to not put salt on my food. i did this before and l lost a lot of weight. does anyone have an issue with salt or giving it up?

This could be a nutritional deficiency.

I don't crave salt but I have been working to release my sweet cravings. I have done this by substituting processed sugar for raw honey, agave nectar, and stevia. You can do the same by using a high quality sea salt or braggs amino.

I posted a thread about this a few months back. Isis mentioned that it could be due to an iodine deficiency.

Start by changing the TYPE of salt you use. Get Real Salt(the brand) or Himalayan Sea Salt.

I posted a thread about this a few months back. Isis mentioned that it could be due to an iodine deficiency. I remember that!

I am sitting here eating a bowl of string beans, tuna, and nori:grin:

Once I found out how great Nori was (from Isis) I have incorporated it into my diet on a more consistent basis. I even keep some in my desk drawer at work:look:
