This week, I took steps to find a new personal trainer. My current trainer and I have just not been getting along lately and for me, I realize that part of the problem is that he doesn't engage me. When I start exercising, he busies himself wiht other clients (yes, he trains more than one person at a time  ), his iPod, or just staring at the floor. Never a "you can do it!" but always a big groan and smart remark if I ease up in the middle of a set. I have three more sessions with him and then he will be getting his walking papers. Speaking of walking . . .

This week, I did a ton of walking! The weather was gorgeous so twice this week when I had meetings across town, instead of taking a taxi, I walked. Also, I started tap dancing lessons on Tuesday. I plan to stick with it this time. It was loads of fun and I worked up a good sweat, too.

What about you guys? What NSVs have you had lately?

I purchased my Wii and the Wii Fit and started using it practically everyday since I bought it (16 days)
I have been walking on my treadmill for the past 6 days for 80 minutes a day.

Oh wow - that's awesome!

I am planning on purchasing a Wii . . . does it really give you a good workout?

Yes it does! It's worth it's weight in gold I tell ya! :yep:
There is a Wii Fit Challenge here on LHCF started by Jessica Rabbit.

If you haven't noticed, it's the hottest most unattainable product out today. I was lucky to find mine; every store was out of them in my area.

It has yoga, hula hoop, running, step, boxing, strength exercises, balance etc. It keeps track of your weight and BMI and other progress. You have to check it out. It's amazing. No wonder it's sold out everywhere. :yep:

The first couple of times I used it, I thought I would die (really not in shape anymore). Now that I am getting back in condition it's not so bad. :) I  it.

I leave the Wii & Wii Fit over my SO's house so I could work out when I am there (I stay at his house 2-3 weeks a month to save gas money) and my big treadmill is at my house. But, I dunno, I might have to buy a Wii for home... :look:

I got a zune not too long ago. Getting this really made a difference in my exercise. I go longer and harder and I am more motivated.

My pants are falling off of me.

I went shopping and bought a dress in a size Medium.
I did exercise videos 2 days this week.
My friends are like "dang, you are looking good."

damn, your trainer sounds like a real lazy douchebag! i'm glad you're getting rid of him.

this week i worked out even when i didn't feel like it at all, which is something that i had a lot of trouble doing in the past.

despite some chocolate, home made chicken burritos, biscuits (cookies) and 2 vodka & cranberrys this week, a shirt that was once very tight feels more comfortable to wear. also, one of my hoodies is looser too.

i'm doing a walk-to-run programme; instead of doing 3 sessions of one level, i did two sessions and then moved up a level!

I can do P90x without being exhausted afterwards. This was a very big victory for me.

Just about all of my clothes are too big and today instead of unbuttoning my skirt I tried to pull it down just to see if I could take it off without opening the skirt. And guess what??? It slided right off!!!!!!!!!!:yahoo:

I tried on ALL of my skinny jeans (which I just got not long ago) and they ALL slide off without unbuttoning.
