Hi Ladies,
I was wondering if any of you has had any success burning body fat. I'm preparing myself for after the birth of my son and want to take stock of helpful hints.
I have a healthy diet plan and a home-gym, as well as a gym membership, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has successfully burned fat. I have seen a lot of people lose weight on various diets and using various workout routines, but many still have a very thick layer of fat on top of muscle.

Hi,
I have some tips for you that work well for me.
1) Work out in the morning before you eat and wait an hour after you workout to eat. I read in the BFL book that you burn up to 300% more bodyfat doing this.
2) Get on a low carb diet like atkins or South beach diet. If you do atkins diet and do it correctly your body will go into a state called "Ketosis" where your body is burning fat for energy in stead of carbs.
3) drink lots of water
4) do interval training 2 or 3 times a week
5) eat 5 to 6 small meals a day
6) try and lift wieghts 1 or 2 times a week
These things help me loose weight from my personal experience and might not be the best thing for you. Try some of this stuff and see if it works for you!!!

webby, you may also want to PM or email sterry. she's a personal trainer & had two children. i believe there were a few posts by her posted between Nov-Jan where she mentioned how she lost the weight after her children. she's at something like, 113 in the summer & 118-120 in the winter. she stated how she controls her weight.
Like mblake, i remember her saying how the morning was the best time to work out because i actually posted that topic question.

Great minds think alike...I did email Sterry.
Thank you both for your responses. I'm going to try to create a low-fat, low-carb, low-cal menu formyself and stick with it. I just cannot handle all of this extra weight, particularly the fat.
Thank you both!

Your suggestion are right on webby! this is exactly how I lost 40 kg and went from size16 to 8. I suggest you buy the BFL book and combine it a lowcarb diet plan. I followed atkins then switch to Protein Power Plan, this is what helped me lose weight, develop muscles and lose body fat. I am currently pregnant, actually today is my due date, and I have gained some body fat ofcourse so I plan to go back to my routine after establishing breast milk for the baby so breast feeding goes smoothly. However I dont think I will follow a lowcarb diet plan, at not least not a very strict on like atkins, perhaps the zone, south beach or BFL meal plan. Hopefully, I will go back to shape without comprimisng my child needs. Pm me if you need websites for supportgroups that are following lowcarb diets.
