I take zinc too. If i remember its suppose to help acne

I remember that episode, but he was specifically talking about HYDRATION of the skin...not the quality of the skin or the prevention of blemishes/acne/etc.

Any acne sufferer, dermatologist, and skin clinician will tell you that water is important to the skin. As a matter of fact, I firmly believe that water is important to skin, period...because water is essential to a healthy body.

So, Dr. Oz may feel that way, but my skin says :nono: when I slack on water and :yep: when I get my 2 L in every day.

I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up on her show in the next year or so saying that the studies are showing something different...

I didn't see the entire episode but I got the impression he was just saying that the calculation that's often purported has no scientific basis???
