ok so I have a gang of pigments from mac and I don't like the way any of the frosty ones go on, and so i read somewhere you can wet your brush and apply it. i'm not feeling the way that is applied. so i remember a long time ago i saw "mixing medium" on the website and that you can use that to mix with your pigments but its not there any longer. what else can i use to mix my pigments with?

you can buy mixing medium in a store (mac sells it)
or you can make it yourself
1 part glycerin (you can get it at CVS)
3 parts water
if you make it yourself make a small batch because it will not last long. Since it is all natural it has a short shelf life ( so I heard) so just make small amounts as you go along

I also mix some lotion, especially the bronzy, gold ones for a shimmery body lotion. I would also do this with the face and body foundation and put it all over my legs. It would make them look so even and smooth.
Sometimes, I put the pigment directly on my lips for a bold dramatic look. I just put on a bright lipstick and using a small shadow brush, pat the pigment on top. It gives a really dramatic effect. Great for clubbing or a costume party.
