I just admire you guys who are in the Nail Polish challenge. It is so adorable to me how you paint your nails so girlish and apply design, keep the healthy, etc. I would like to know how do you shape yoru nails so you get that perfect rounded look that makes the nail polish look oh so manicured and healthy?

Do you guys have a nail regimen? If so what is it?

Personally I file straight across and then round the corners. You may also consider just getting a polish change (they range from $7 - $12 at a basic salon). They usually shape your nails for you, so you can get to watch them in action, and get your nails polished all at once. I used to get french manicure polish changes every 3 weeks until I learned how to do it myself.

I shared how I shape mine in this post (http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2109707&postcount=51).

ETA: I used to like the rounded tips when I was younger but now I much prefer the square w/ rounded corners look, especially when my nails are long (http://images103.fotki.com/v421/photos/3/31573/1292267/MyNailsAug2004-vi.jpg).
