The scent is wonderful but it has no lasting power. I only by fragrances in sets so I have the lotion and the fragrance. No amount of layering keeps the scent on me. What do you guys think of it? I paid $75 and would like to smell it on me when I sniff my wrist....at least!:ohwell: I may have to sell this in the exchange forum.

Are you sure? Usually when we can't smell it, others still can...have you asked anyone if they could smell it? I have it also, it's not one of my favs so I don't wear it much.

I just asked a co-worker and she had to get close to smell it, but said she did. $75 and you have to get REAL close to smell it?:nono:

You spraying it on your pulse points (wrists, behind ears, behind knees)?

Also how are you layering?
After I shower, I dry off then spray on my scent, then lotion, then put scent on my pulse points. That usually does the trick.

YEP! Maybe it just doesn't like me.:nono: I don't know, I never had a fragrance smell so faint on me and I always try to use a light hand when applying it.

I did lotion THEN fragrance on pulse points. Maybe it'll work if I reverse it. Thanks

Sounds like you may have to lug it around in your purse and reapply...i hate that :ohwell:
OMG! It doesn't last on me either. I have to spray it on all day if I want anyone to notice it. I really love the scent. The mens fragrance has the same non lasting scent.:drunk:

I seriously thought it was just me! I love fragrances and got this one for mother's day. But I don't wear it much b/c it's gone after the drive in to work!
Who has time to keep reapplying a $75 fragrance?

Not every perfume will agree with your chemistry. I learned this the costly way.
Some people could put on 3 spritz of perfume/parfum and the scent will stay with them the entire day. Not I.
Me, :look: I'm known to have to spray at least 10 sprays of perfume for one to even smell it. And i'm not going by *my* nose, but by other people. They will literally have to smell my neck to smell my fragrance. However, there are certain perfumes that work for me... and I stick with those. Also, oils work in my favor, those i can rub on my pulse points and dab here and there and the scent stays. Lotions and body mists/perfumes work for me too, BBW and Victoria Secrets.
I don't know what it is about my chemistry, i've bought several perfumes that I've had to give away or return b/c no one can smell it.. and it could even be a parfum.... it's all chemistry I guess.
Oils def. mix well with people's skin. Even if you use an oil as a base and use perfume or body mist on top of it, that should give you good lasting power. My friend uses oils all the time and she smells soo good, she'll put on an oil and then put a perfume, lotion, body mist on top.. she mixes up her scents.
Today I have on Body Shop's coconut oil and I can faintly smell it on myself, and I have the lotion too just for layering.

I like white floral musk from the Body Shop but it evaporates into thin air on me but stays on my daughter. Have you tried it with a citrus scented body lotion for staying power?

OP,Unforgiveable is the total opposite for me...I only spray once on my wrist, I rub it on the other wrist and my neck and it lasts ALL day. I tried spraying it twice and I felt that it was a little too strong.

It lasts a long time on me, I forget I have it on unless someone mention my purfume.. I like that I don't have to keep reapplying it.

Today I sprayed the fragrance on pulse points then put on the lotion then sprayed again. Good grief!:ohwell: I still can’t smell it:wallbash:, but apparently others can cuz I’ve been asked what I’m wearing. Others can smell it today and they say that I don’t smell overpowering – I thought I would because I feel like I bathed in it. So I guess I’ll keep it because I do like the scent. This is the only fragrance that has reacted like this on me.

I had some samples of this and it stayed on me pretty well. I like to make sure to get some on my clothes because perfume seems to cling to fabric very well. Now that Donna Karen Cashmere Mist that's a different story. I can't get that to stay on long no matter what I do. It's a shame because I like the scent.

I, too, can attest to this fragrance not having lasting power or sillage. It stands to reason that it doesn't because the bottle says "Scent Spray"; which, from what I've read, is equivalent to a 'cologne'. Fragrances have these concentrations (listed weakest to strongest):
Body Spray
Cologne
Eau de Toilette
Eau de Parfum
Parfum
So, this fragrance is of the weaker concentration :nono:. Then again, the largest size is 4.2 ounce, which is fairly large for a fragrance, so the value isn't that bad when you think of it from that point.
I will say that 'Unforgivable Woman Black' seems to be stronger, has better sillage, and seems to last longer. If you like the fragrance, I suggest you check it out! :yep:

PBE,
This fragrance was on my wish list for the Fall. I'm glad that you started this thread. :yep:
