I've heard of needling, but I haven't heard of this roller before and haven't heard of anyone trying it at home. Has anyone here tried it?

Using extremely precise and patented mechanical engineering methods, exactly 192 individual stainless steel pins (which can be obtained in 5 different lengths), are attached to a re-sanitizeable (but designed for individual use) polymer roller on a convenient handle and then Gold-Plated with 14kt Gold to make the gold pins non-allergenic to human tissue. Depending on the depth of the Micro Channels created and thus the level of Stimulation desired and the patient’s capability to undergo the procedure under topical anesthesia or with the use of the Cryo-5 by Zimmer set on 2, many different pathological conditions of the skin can be treated with dramatic early and/or later results:

Epidermal Condition:
Fine lines and wrinkles and superficial pigmentation problems. Also useful for scalp stimulation to help revascularize hair follicles and thus re-grow longer, thicker hair.

Why is Skin Needling with Golden Skin Roller so effective?

Successful collagen remodeling and new collagen and elastin production depend on the accurate targeting of the dermis. Skin Needling up to a depth of 1.5 mm ensures the dermis is successfully targeted and micro-injured with each needle penetration. With the epidermis intact and plenty of healthy tissue surrounding each micro injury, new collagen production is induced with minimal harm to skin structures and the skin's protective barrier.

How is it done?
Golden Skin Roller causes multiple tiny pinpoint puncture wounds to the epidermis and dermis. This dermal damage induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new Collagen and Elastin by Fibroblasts.

Remodeling of this new collagen continues for 24 months after each treatment.

Because the epidermal layer is left mostly intact, the healing period is rapid. The skin does not risk permanent structural damage, does not have an increased risk of sun sensitivity, skin color loss, or post-treatment hyperpigmentation.

I read it treats stretch marks too. I wanted reviews of this product for ice pick scars.

All I can say is get that thing away from me. :perplexed
I'd be scared to use that on my face!

For someone who gets pigmentation from even the slightest injury or scratch on their face, this may be a nightmare.

I'll take a pass on this for 200, Alex:nono::nono::nono:

It seems to be a product from Asia, you know some countries have odd practices/medthods(not saying they don't work). I need to see this on a real brown person's skin. Even then, I'd pass

As someone that will get hyper-pigmentation from someone looking at me too hard, I can't imagine any good results from this apparatus :nono:

*howling* :lachen:

Well, the acne board I belonged to years ago had many members going to professionals for "needling." - a similar technique shown on this meat tenderizer skin roller thingy I posted. Maybe it's like accupunture as far as it not hurting as much as it looks. I dunno. Yall know I'll try anything to get my face looking fly.

Key word - PROFESSIONAL.:lachen:

When I think of needling, I think of that movie about the teen witches and the girl wanted to get rid of a burn scar **shudder**

ITA Jlove, I wouldn't say never though. I have 2 deep scars from chicken pox that I would love to get rid of, but I need to see at least 100 brown people (of varying shades) do this with satisfactory results for me to consider. The things we will do to achieve flawless skin :spinning:

Good LAWWWD. I didnt even read the thread just saw the picture :perplexed. It looks like a torture device. Let me go back and read this thread...lol

ETA: ummmm no. I think I would have to pass. I can just see over 100 hyperpigmented spots showing up on my face, then trying to explain to my friends that I did not get smacked in the face with a cactus.

See now, JLove. I would have never gotten rid of my acne if I didn't rig up a home blue light lamp that is usually done by a professional machine at the derm for $$$ per visit. Yall have to think of the potential. :look: Hopefully I'm convincing someone here. :lachen:

eta: The Craft is the movie.

I'll try most things so if it's affordable and if the reviews are positive I'd buy it.
