My skin has been breaking out horribly since last week. My diet hasn't changed. I never wear makeup during the week. When I do, it's natural mineral makeup. And I only drink water. I live in very humid Atlanta. Is this happening to anyone else? What can I do to clear and even my skin tone FAST!!!

 Hi
I had to start washing my face more often 3x a day. Keeping blotting towels in my purse because I had so much grease on my face I could fry chicken. I also, changed products for summer cleaning to Acne free blue box.

Whats your regime now?
What products do you use....face wash, moisturizier, night cream etc.....?
Personally, switching to a foaming face wash helps my skin in the sticky summer months. I also use 2% salicylic acid gel on my face (if my cleanser doesn't have it) to help control oil production and help keep my pores clear.
I up the usage of a clay mask and change my pillowcases more often. I also don't go to sleep with any makeup on. I wash my face as soon as I get home if I know I am not going out again to remove any residue from my sunscreen that as accumlated throughout the day.

Using Queen Helenes Mint Julep Mask every other day has helped my rather oily skin from breaking out in Summer months. I also use Tazorac and clindamycin to combat acne and my face stays clear.

I use the Queen Helene Mint Mask too and it is wonderful for me. I live in Buffalo,NY where we only have like 2 hrs of really hot weather.ok 2 mths but it feels like less..So my skin goes into shock..I'm super oily too (My brother calls me K.FC.) The masks helps alot and more frequent washing..I keep biore face wipes on hand at all times.

This helps me too 3x day gentle cleaning of my face. I use only sunscreen in mid day wash. Take your cleaning items to work it only takes 5 minutes for my mid day wash and my skin feels so refreshed. I also put acne medication on spots if I have active bumps on all three washes.

I would use a drastic amount of less vitamin E or none at all or maybe just at night. It has alot oil in it and between this heat it will cause problems. Most use oils such as these in Fall, Spring & Winter but extreme heat only use water based products with maybe a drop of vitamin E.

Try an at home facial. Use you regular cleanser, scrub, steam your face (helps w/ oilyness and cleans pores), do extraction w/ blackhead remover, then tone and moisturize. And try steaming your face at night after cleaning a few times a week then use a toner and whatever spot treatment your using for your face. I've been very oily this summer too and I think the steam has helped. Along w/ montly glycolic facials.
