Any reviews of this New York Outlet Mall. I'm particularly looking for reviews of DVF, Gucci, Chanel and Jimmy Choo outlets. Good merchandise or no? Does the Jimmy Choo outlet have a large selection of shoes in larger sizes (41-42)?

To me its hit or miss. Most of the time its miss for me. Chanel, Jimmy Choo etc they all have yucky stuff.
Gucci was okay. its just not worth the drive to me. Which takes me about an hour outside NYC.
Im pissed cause i bought some shades from Dior there for about $325. Why were they $220 on Bluefly..

I have never been but they have the cosmetics outlet (discount mac!) that I wanted to check out.

there are tons of other outlets so I never thought of it as having something over others

I was just there in March. First trip. Me, mom and sis spent more money there than we did in King of Prussia mall and NY shopping.

Mom bought a couple Michael Kors leather bags, I bought a pair of sneakers and cap at the Puma outlet, sis bought a Dooney & Bourke bag, I picked up some classic air maxs at the Nike outlet, couple of stuff at Loccitane, Coach bags, etc.

Beware of some of the stores return policy though. Mom got her Michael Kors bags home and decided she didnt like them. No refund, exchange only and the there is NO Kors store down south so she clerk had to take pictures of alternate bags in the store and email them to my mom so she could pick one out and ship hers back 4 return.

Strict return policy, certain stores have FINAL sales AND my sis learned that her Dooney bag could NOT be registered. :nono:

Also make sure u go to the Cust. Svc. desk to get the coupon book.

i was just up there a couple weeks ago...

i will just say its a hit/miss type of outlet mall (this is the only one i've been to though...) i found that if ur into designer jeans like 7's, True Religions, Rich and Skinny, Antiks, Joe's etc... You can probably find them up there in the Off Saks or Neiman Marcus stores or the True Religion store.

SO basically, I just like up for my designer jeans... Oh, I like the Burberry store too. They had those slip on sneakers I like, the ones like Vans for like $100+... not bad...

I like it but like everyone says, it's hit or miss. the last time I was there i got some Gucci leather sneakers for $220. they were originally like $375 or something like that. the bag selection wasn't that great. it was also a saturday. if i were u, i would find out when the stores receive shipments and go the next day. also, avoid the weekend rush if u can.

Jersey Gardens has a Off 5th if you want that..they also have a bebe outlet
The Mall at Short Hills is one of the best malls in America, very upscale
both are close to the city. New York isn't known for malls but since your so close might as well go to the mall capital AKA NJ

The best shopping in NYC is in Manhattan. Uptown or downtown its all good
