What's yours?

I love skirts and cutsy blouses/tops.

I often wonder if I am wearing the right style for my figure.

So tell me what's your shape and what's your style?

neat thread!

i'm still in college, and am not ashamed to admit that i still wear a few pieces from my high school wardrobe...

but mostly, i LOVE bootcut / skinny jeans, long t-shirts layered under bright colored hoodies...

when it's nice out, i love wearing fluttery summer-ry sundresses with short sleeved cardigans on top...

and if i'm not wearing flip-flops (i wear them religiously march - october because i have BEAUTIFUL toes and feet), you'll always catch me in a pair of chuck taylors or vans.

I am pear shaped.

I like to wear well tailored, fitted clothes that are feminine and show my curves but are not tight.

My favorite looks lately are pencil skirts, wide legged pants, and wrap dresses.

Everything I wear has a bit of stretch and I almost always wear heels.

Since I'm also 40+, it is challenging to make sure I don't wear things that are inappropriately "young" or too trendy.

My main goal is to avoid appearing matronly or dowdy :nono:!

I would love to hear from the 40+ ladies about what they're wearing!

I don't have a signature style. I am working on that now. When I try things on they don't usually fit me correctly ... so I settle often times for anything I can find that fits. I am trying to find a good tailor or seamstress down here so I can curb this problem.

I like bright colors , tailored jackets, and sporty flats. I wear a bunch of yellow.

My shape is a pear.

I've been described as being funky chic, I love my style to be sophisticated with a twist.n I love unique pieces and I'm a huge fan of vintage dresses and tops. I love to mix colors and I enjoy wearing bold and antique jewelry. Give me a classic outfit and I'll always give it a twist.

Wow, I am not sure wear my style fits in but maybe I should but put in the "funky-cute" catagory.

I love very feminine tops ( fitted and flirty) as well as classy tops and penicl skirts as well.

I also love skinny jeans, boot cut and flared, bell-bottom jeans as well with a cute top and a antique, funky belt.

I am short and pear shaped so I have to be careful what kind of dresses I put on my frame.

Too long will make me look like a midget and too short..well you know what that looks like!

The type of dresses I favor or either fitted dresses, shirt dresses or airy, chiffon like dresses that Zara's carry. It makes me feel like a princess. Bandu dresses are good for me too because I have no boobies. :nono:

All I know is that almost every women at my job always wants to know where I get my clothes, shoes and accessories.

I shop from Ebay, Vinatge stores, J. Crew, Banana Republic, H&M, Forever 21,Armani Exchange, Urban Outfitters and Zaras especially. I just try to find whatever looks funky and catches my eye that is thoroughly unique and screams, "DIVA!!!"

I would describe my sytle as sophisafunky. :yep: I don't usually shop at malls, I like well tailored suits and clothes that compliment my figure. I like appareal w/ a little style to them. I'm a little curvacious and I'm not top heavy.
