So far with me I have totaly lost at least 9lbs . My body is getting use to the early morning workout. I just wanted to know if everyone is sticking to there goals or if not keeping upt with there goal please explain why . HAPPY WEIGHT LOST /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Well, I have become fanatical. I bought a Belly dance tape, a Pilates tape, and recently a Yoga tape and ball. I also bought a scale that gives you your weight and your body fat by scanning your body. After all of this, I still haven't seen any weight losss, but I sure am ready.
What does everyone think of the exercise ball? It seems like a great way to tone up.

I have been doing pretty good. Since my treadmill is in my bedroom, I have been doing an hour after breakfast and after dinner. Those endorphins are making feel very positive. I don't get on the scale but noticed my clothes have become loose.

I'm not weighing until the end of Jan, but I feel good and my clothes are loser. So far, I'm only exercising 4 days a week---my goal was 6day/week. And I need to find a way to stop eating after 7pm /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif.

I don't know if I've lost anything because I threw out my scale a LOOOONG time ago. But I've made so many positive changes that I feel good about. I've started eating healthy breakfasts (thanks, Carrie), eating a bigger meal in the middle of the day and lighter at night and nothing but fruit, yogurt or water if I need something after 7:00 p.m.
I'm back in school now two nights a week but I try to get a workout in on the other days of the week.
It's hard for me to see an initial difference in my body but I'm not discouraged yet! I hope everybody else is hanging in there too.

Robin41,
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that literally threw out my scale. I became obsessed with that thing.... stepping on it about 5 times a day. I couldn't even concentrate on my goals. Then I realized that what's most noticeable is loss in inches rather than pounds (at least for me). Even when my clothes would be looser, I would still consider myself failing because the scale didn't indicate a loss in pounds. I took that thing to the dumpster and never looked back.
Yup! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm hanging in there.

Yes, girl. You can get addicted to running to that scale after every mouthful of food or every workout. It doesn't take into account that you're adding muscle when you're weight training, so even though you're getting in shape, you don't see it on the scale and it would get very frustrating. Pitched it right out.
You know, I wouldn't even mind staying the same weight if I could firm up all this jelly and add more muscle. Not beefed up, but just toned. I'm trying ...

Now see that's what I'm talkin' bout'. I'm very pleased with my hips, I have no stomach, but my problem is my jiggly thighs which aren't all that bad... they just need toning.
If it weren't for my thighs I probably would comfortably fit in a 10. Right now I'm in mostly 12's and some 14's.
