1. This will be a 12 week challenge. The first week actually begins April 23th, but absolutely no entries will be accepted after Saturday the 26th!

2. We would like for you to take before & after photos, but it is not required (that way, you can show off your before & after photos at the end of the challenge if you choose to do so!).

3. There will be weekly weigh-ins on Wednesdays. You will need to PM your captain your weight for that day by midnight (whatever time zone you are in). Feel free to post them in the forum as well.

6. There is no set “diet plan” for all to follow.

7. At the end of the 12 weeks, we will recognize, based on the most percentage of weight lost: 1) the top team, 2) the top loser from each team, and 3) the overall loser.

8. If a team member is late more than 3 times they are dropped.

9. If a team member fails to report in twice in a row they are dropped.

What worked? Keeping with my interval training and keeping within my weight watchers points.

What didn't work/need to improve on? This week I need to include more veggies and fruits.

What's your plan for this week and how do you plan on improving? Drinking more veggie and fruit juice. This weekend is going to be a harder but I am going to plan out my meals today.

What are your dinner plans for this week?

Thursday: Tuna steak, Brown rice and green beans.
Friday: Slow cooker chicken & spaghetti
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: ????? Don't know yet
Monday: Shrimp & rice
Tuesday: Beef, goya rice & veggies
Wednesday: Beans & rice

What worked?

Staying in a hotel for most of the week, meant that I did not have access to any JUNK FOOD or LATE NIGHT SNACKING! I also drink lots of water during my business trip.

What didn't work/need to improve on?

I had a business trip this week, so I had not time to exercise (left hotel at 7 am/returned at 11pm) so my fitness plan was totally thrown off.

[B]What's your plan for this week and how do you plan on improving?

Exercising on my own (at home with exercise tapes) is boring! I plan to use my Bally's membership to head to the gym and/or walk around the lake to get some fresh air and company.

My social calendar is gearing up with the warm weather (weddings, concerts, and dates), so I need to come up with a few safer, low cal menu/drink choices when eating out!

I'm still purging my closet of all of my too big clothes. I plan to donate anything that is too big and focus on accessorizing what I have left to get the most wear before reaching my target size.

What are your dinner plans for this week?

I have fish, chicken, and veggies to meals- just not sure which nights I'll be home to cook.

p.s This may sound wierd, but my stomach is flatter so I may not look different with clothes on I look better au naturel.

Guys...

I think I am going to do all fruits and veggies for two weeks. I have to do something to jump start my weight loss. I lost 2.2 lbs this week but that means I am still up 1.2 lbs from weight I gained the week before.

Finally going to the gym instead of trying to workout at home.

I feel good with what I did last week.

What's your plan for this week and how do you plan on improving?

I plan on continuing to work out and focus on making better eating choices. I have been wanting twix candy bars since Sunday and have resisted them. I am really proud of myself for that. Those Twix bars will be there in a year when I am at my goal. Not to say that I won't eat any junk at all, I am just making better "junk" choices.

Thursday: granola mix ... ate a bigger lunch
Friday: turkey burger
Saturday: turkey burger with blue corn chips and avocado
Sunday: tilapia w spinach and rice pilaf
Monday: spinach and rice pilaf
Tuesday: blue corn chips and avocado
Wednesday: turkey burger and corn

I did not want to workout at all yesterday but I did anyways :yawn: Finished my week 3 interval training so next week it will be considerably harder. Sorry I am a little behind on my posts here's this weeks biggest losers:

I changed my diet
I have grits with butter and green tea for the AM
salad and fruit& veggies for lunch
Dinner- a salad with some fruit or soup from the can or a sensible dinner. I eat before 7pm if possible no later than 8pm

I just finished the 20min Turbo jam workout and I walked for 20 minutes this morning.

Yesterday I did not feel like working out so I went to my rental and mowed the lawn and then came home and cut my front yard. Today I plan to go and take my first Zumba class, if not I will be doing the firm

But you still lost ;)

My diet has taken a hit this week :ohwell: But I have been keeping up with my workouts. Yesterday was the first movie I have seen without popcorn :D :popcorn: My Dh was so proud of me..lol. Then I worked-out for almost 2 hours...50 min elliptical and 57 min walk on the treadmill...I was really really bored yesterday...lol. So I doubt that I will workout today but if I do it's just going to be walking. So how is everyone doing this weekend??

i have been very bad so i had to nip it in the bud

What worked? walking 3miles 3-4x a week
What didn't work/need to improve on? This week I need to reject my cravings and not rely on my sil's to go to the gym.

sunday- walk 3 miles maybe turbo jam
monday- gym(strength first then 40 min on ellipt)
tuesday- walk? or 2 turbo jam workouts

Today I jogged 3.75 miles :yay: Tmw starts my 4th week of interval training. I really need to work on my diet this week :ohwell:

im here

5/11- walked 3miles
eating was great

5/12- walked, 2.5 miles, 20 minutes interval on the treadmill, 20 min intervals on the ellipt. 2 sets of 15 on stregth machines
eating was okay, but had a small fry and chicken wrap from wendy's (needless to say i think i worked that off)

5/13 i may just do turbo jam because my 2yr old is burning up with a fever i have to take her to the dr in a bit

I'm here!! I am focusing on working out moreso than my eating. I am, however, making better choices with the junk that I eat.

I didn't lose any weight this week, but I also didn't gain any so that's a plus. I be dealing with dental problems, so hopefully next week will be better. Spanishteardrops, do you still want me to pm you even if I didn't have a change in weight?

This week I had a 0.2lb gain :mad: I guess it happens sometimes. Sorry I didn't have time to send out reminder pms yesterday :sad: So PM me or post your weights :) Off to start a week 4 thread!
